OurPets Mouse in Sheep's Clothing Catnip Cat Toy

My elderly cat has had a mouse similar to this since he was a kitten, but that mouse is about to come to its end of life. He has 25+ other toys and mice but this is the only one he likes to carry around and MUST bring to bed everything night (it's quite amusing). Anyways, I had been searching for the last year for something similar and someone on reddit actually found this one for me, so obviously, I purchased 2 (even considered buying the bulk box for $45 - don't tell my husband).It came in and we were skeptical because it is easily 2-3x the size of his old one, but the material and overall look is exactly the same, nonetheless, he carries this one around the house and does his little chirping and plays with it like a kitten again! 10/10 would recommend!

Expensive, but my boys adore it so it's worth it

My cat played with this toy right away. He swatted at it with his paw and he pushed it across the floor for over an hour. This mouse makes a rattling sound when it moves, and the noise fascinates my cat. The body of this toy is very soft and lightweight. It looks like it is made out of lamb's wool, but it is not wool. The label says, ingredients: polyester, catnip. Made in China.I have some concerns. The tail on this mouse is not securely sewn on. The face is dyed purple. Since this toy is made in China, I am not sure if that purple dye is safe. The label says "Not a child's toy. Small parts may pose a choking hazard. Adult supervision required. Not a dog toy, intended only for cats. Discard if damage occurs." That label sounds a little ominous.

The mouse I received was similar, but definitely not the same and not as nice as the one shown here. My was made in China by a different company called "Cosmic Pet" . I was disappointed, as I've bought "Our Pets" toys before, and my cat has really liked them.

This was a gift for my friends dog (small breed). She loved throwing and chasing it around. It is a quality stuffed toy, and great value for the money. I would buy this for a cat or small dog that would love to play with it.

I was trying to replace my cat's mouse toy that he loved to death and tore open. This one looks similar so he still seems to love it, but not with the same intense fervor. The lack of a jingle bell and catnip probably is why he isn't as mad for it and it does help that he's not tearing it open, but it's sad because every time I open the drawer where the destroyed mouse toy was, he perks up and hustles over expectantly, leaving this toy behind.So...yeah. Your cat may like it okay, but it's not as advertised and I'm sad that I may not be able to find the original again.

My cat absolutely loves this toy mouse!! I adopted him and he came with one that was a larger version of this...which was on its last leg. I looked all over for this!! He plays with it at night and I find it all over the house the next morning! Great toy for energetic kitties!
