A wonderful film
Of its time, but a wonderful film nonetheless. Bing Crosby is playing Father O'Malley, the same character he played in Going My Way. Ingrid Bergman is radiant as a nun. It's said that she turned out to be a recruiting agent (unintentionally, of course) for the sisterhood. Highly recommend.

Watched this per rental pay to go along with prior 'Going My Way'.I always read the Imdb listings of cast and trivia (when available).Going My way included names of two actors in later tv series,However, Belles of ST. Mary's had a Imdb listing for the movie 'Gone in Sixty Seconds'.
