Topping the Jock (A Blue Harbor Romance Book 1)

I really enjoyed Quinn and Monty's story, it was exactly what I was looking for; sweet, hot fun, heartfelt and a feel-good read. I think this is what everyone wants right now. It's a story about forgiveness, second chances and that love can hit you when you least expect it. It's the perfect book for curling up on a rainy afternoon with. Looking forward to Reed's story.

This is a sweet enemy to lovers story. Quinn is faced with his childhood bully when Monty gets a job teaching at Quinns school. Will Monty be able to prove he's not the bully he was 10 years ago? And will Quinn ever be able to forgive him?

First book i have read by this author and I absolutely loved it. Such an amazing story and so well written. As the author says at the start it is a fluff book but it pulls you in. I loved Quinn and Monty they really capture your heart, even the side characters pull you in.

Cute fun. Would have liked the UST to be a bit more angsty and for Monty's penitence over being a bully to have been a bit worse. Felt like he got away with it and deserved a bit more harshness. The side plots are a bit weak and could have used a bit of meat but the author stated they wanted something light so it fits the brief.

First time reading this author and I loved this story. Monty and Quinn were so adorable, I kept waiting for the usual misunderstanding and temporary breakup and was delighted when there wasn’t one. Can’t wait to read Reed’s story next.

Beautiful sweet read.I loved Monty and Quinn, the teasing /ennemies type of conversation, the change to friendship and love. It felt very organic and lovely.I really enjoyed this book and can't wait for the next one

Oh this was just so cute. So simple and uncomplicated. Monty worked so hard to get Quinn to forgive him and drop his barriers and it was lovely to have a bully be redeemed

This is a sweet love story. A nerd and a jock. A past of pain. Learning to forgive and forget. Leaving to love and trust. It’s an amazing and sweet love story that I didn’t want to end.

I'm not normally a person who likes a redeemed bully type of romance, but this book was an exception. Monty started out with quite a few strikes against him in my book and it took some time for me to forgive his past actions. Quinn was very wary about trusting him again. Rightly so, but the more time they spent together, the more I loved these two as a couple. You have to give Monty points for not giving up on Quinn because he made it extremely challenging to break down his defenses and give them a chance. Once Quinn lets down his defenses, you really get to see his loving side, which is so beautiful. I thought that this was a very witty, charming, and romantic story.

Loved this book so much my heart is now complete. Loved the characters and the dual POV,SPOILERS I just lamented that they switched positions in the end and it didn't seem they switched back. Monty is such a powerful bottom, and after their first switch, I would've enjoyed if the author mentioned that they were switching at times, instead of the feeling I got that they didn't (and this kind of thing doesn't bother me in real life, but I don't know why it bothered me here, maybe it was the way it was presented)

This is one of those books that is simply so sweet, low angst, easy to read and full of wonderful characters that you can read regardless your mood because it will enlighten your day no matter what. To witness Quinn and Montgomery's accepting and forgiving their past mistakes and evolving from enemies to lovers in a slow pace was a treat, and once I started reading I couldn't stop until the very end. I loved so much this amazing love story and I can't wait to read Reed's next!

I really love an easy-reading love story like this one. Two characters with previous, mit so easy history, meeting for a fresh start. I had some good giggles, liked the overall backstory and well, the s*x scenes...for obvious reasons. 🎉Just recently I finished another book, where it always ended before it really started - like in Telenovela's and the next thing you know, they are dressed again and someone is leaving 🙄🙄🙄Well, this book came through and really appreciate it. It was hot, steamy - let's just say, I had to wake my husband after finishing this book and he wasn't dressed 😋So, if you enjoy a good story telling with some hot stuff, this is your book - enjoy your read 😉Dear Jaclyn, this is the first book I ever read from you and I have no regrets 😉 Thank you and keep up the good work 🙏
