Solar Active is a special brand of UV embroidery thread that actually changes color in the sunlight. You get a set of 7 spools, 200 yards each, of 7 different colors of Solar Active Thread. All of the threads are white when indoors, and change color when exposed to sunlight. You get one spool of each of the following colors: white to yellow, white to red, white to orange, white to magenta, white to teal blue, white to seamist green, and white to purple. The color changing effect will last more than 2000 times in and out of the sun (which equals the life of most garments). UV threads are machine washable. Just do not dryclean or iron directly and do not use bleach. A really great, fun thread that will fascinate children and grown-ups alike!
