I have used both the stick butter and the square "Irish Butter" and neither has touched the lid. **Q: Does it have butter printed on both sides?** A: No, it is only printed on one side. **Q: Made in the USA?** A: Not sure about where it is made, but love the butter dish. Going to order another. **Q: Is this dishwasher safe? Or should it be washed by hand?** A: Hand wash, you should not put wood in the dishwasher and i'm not sure if the metal/enamel base is safe in there. Seems like it would chip easy ## Frequently Bought Together - Granrosi Farmhouse Butter Dish - Retro Airtight Butter Container with Lid; Covered Butter Holder; Fridge & Countertop Use - Granrosi Bacon Grease Container with Strainer - 36OZ Stainless Steel Bacon Grease Saver with Airtight Lid; Farmhouse Small Bacon Grease Strainer; Grease Container for Kitchen; Bacon Up Bacon Grease - Granrosi Kitchen Vegetable Storage Set for Pantry & Countertop — Set of 3 Kitchen Containers Including Potato Bin, Onion Keeper & Garlic Storage; Rustproof Metal & Aeratic Holes; Farmhouse Style --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.jp/products/295565654-granrosi-farmhouse-butter-dish-retro-airtight-butter-container-with-lid](https://www.desertcart.jp/products/295565654-granrosi-farmhouse-butter-dish-retro-airtight-butter-container-with-lid) --- *Product available on Desertcart Japan* *Store origin: JP* *Last updated: 2026-10-18*
