For those who say that it falls off a car rack, which style of car rack are you using?

I've used on both roof and rear racks - always made sure the full width of velcro across the top was sealed - haven't had a problem yet. it's always there when I arrive. I imagine with some full suspension downhill bikes it might be an issue because of the large / boxy chainstay - but just make sure you get it on completely and you seal it up using the full width of Velcro - that's always worked for me.

Question 2

Will this fit over a cassette that has Shimano Ultegra DI2?

I have a Shimano Ultegra DI2 on my Quintana Roo Tri Bike and I use the White Lightening Chain Johnny whenever I travel and it works quite well. It will not cover everything 100% but it keeps 90% of the rain, dust, and dirt out. It's tight, secure, and easy to put on and take off. I like the product.

Question 3

Will this work when traveling on the interstate for 1200 miles?

Mets Fan...YES! They will work...I bought 2 of these several years ago...the first trip was 800 miles through all types of weather, bug infestations, mud, high winds, etc. And I never had any problems with either one...they are used on two expensive racing bikes, so I was not about to take any chances. Best thing to do is use it (or them) several times to get the cover on securely, that is, a little stretch, and the they fit snug. You can cover most of the rear cogs. If the bike rack is on the rear of the vehicle, you will not get much wind, mud, etc. I drove at 75 mph on the interstate when possible. Well constructed and a great price. Just back sure bike(s) are secure and to care installing cover correctly. (A video is available to view proper installation.)

Question 4

Do you need to remove pedals to use the Johnny?  Just looking for short-distance protection from my 1/2 mile of gravel driveway.

No need to remove the pedals, but the cranks have to stay more or less in the same position. You can' put this thing on your bike and ride with it. It's more designed for protecting the inside of your car/trunk from dirty chain marks. You could also use it when your bike is on a roof rack I suppose if you wanted protect the chain from the elements.
