Review: Beautiful set will not disappoint. - Beautiful set.Good detail but pieces do lack some weight otherwise Love it. Review: Awesome chessmen! - My 17 yo son made a chessboard in class at school so we were looking for a unique set of chessmen to go with it. When we found these we knew this was what we were looking for! When they came in the mail, and we saw them in person, we were so pleased. They were exactly as described and just look awesome with his board. Very happy with this set and would purchase again. ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B010MXI3OO | | Are Batteries Required | No | | Batteries Required? | No | | Brand | HPL | | CPSIA Cautionary Statement | Choking Hazard - Small Parts | | Colour | Multicolor | | Country of Origin | USA | | Customer Reviews | 4.2 out of 5 stars 44 Reviews | | Is Assembly Required | No | | Item Dimensions | 7.6 x 2.5 x 0.3 Centimeters | | Item Weight | 794 g | | Manufacturer | HPL | | Manufacturer Part Number | HPL006 | | Material | Resin | | Model Number | HPL006 | | Number of Players | 2 | | Size | One Size | | UPC | 755464933127 | ## Product Details - **Brand:** HPL - **Material:** Resin - **Number of Players:** 2 - **Batteries Required?:** No - **Colour:** Multicolor ## Images ![Medieval Times Crusades Red & Green Busts Set Of Chess Men Pieces Hand Painted - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/81Z51iAzKYL.jpg) ![Medieval Times Crusades Red & Green Busts Set Of Chess Men Pieces Hand Painted - Image 2](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/8102OUqcOwL.jpg) ![Medieval Times Crusades Red & Green Busts Set Of Chess Men Pieces Hand Painted - Image 3](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/A1KBfVvROaL.jpg) ![Medieval Times Crusades Red & Green Busts Set Of Chess Men Pieces Hand Painted - Image 4](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/91HIJyJ-lvL.jpg) ![Medieval Times Crusades Red & Green Busts Set Of Chess Men Pieces Hand Painted - Image 5](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/81SPeZIdqaL.jpg) ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Beautiful set will not disappoint. *by T***O on 3 July 2020* Beautiful set.Good detail but pieces do lack some weight otherwise Love it. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Awesome chessmen! *by J***. on 13 June 2023* My 17 yo son made a chessboard in class at school so we were looking for a unique set of chessmen to go with it. When we found these we knew this was what we were looking for! When they came in the mail, and we saw them in person, we were so pleased. They were exactly as described and just look awesome with his board. Very happy with this set and would purchase again. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Gorgeous if a little small and light *by M***Y on 20 June 2019* It looked like the pieces + board sets that are also available had somewhat oversized boards, so I went with pieces only. Very attractive set, nice detail, would look nice on any number of different boards. Pieces are only 1 inch diameter and a tad light, but I'm looking forward to weighting them with washers or coins and re-felting. It will be worth it for such good looking armies. Delivered less than 24 hours ago so durability is still a question. Will update review if it turns out to be a problem, but to be safe I plan to only use this set in carpeted rooms. I could see how a drop on hardwood or concrete could damage these. --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.jp/products/295494167-medieval-times-crusades-red-and-green-busts-set-of-chess](https://www.desertcart.jp/products/295494167-medieval-times-crusades-red-and-green-busts-set-of-chess) --- *Product available on Desertcart Japan* *Store origin: JP* *Last updated: 2026-10-12*
