Review: If you’re wondering if this machine is worth it, it is!! - I was first introduced to reformer Pilates after a car accident. I wanted to buy a membership at a Pilates studio but the memberships are EXTREMELY expensive. So I started researching and found this machine on desertcart. It was cheaper than the ones I really wanted. But still being a beginner, this machine is absolutely perfect! I put it together alone. Just a few pieces. The machine is already together for the most part. No tools needed. It is kinda heavy. But I’m in decent shape and 31 years old. After buying this machine, I noticed the price went up a couple days later. I’m happy I bought it when I did. I have a feeling this machine will last me for awhile. It’s also compact. You can fold it in half (which is how it came in the box) and roll it away for storage. If you’re wondering if this machine is worth it, it is! Like I said, I’m still a beginner so I don’t need anything to fancy. This machine is basic and serves its purpose. I literally just put it together and used it for about 20 minutes before writing this review! Get this machine!! I also bought red tension bands but don’t foresee needing for awhile. I will get one of those rebounders though and maybe even a box later. But the machine is great as is. Does make a tiny bit of noise while using but it didn’t bother me bc I was watching tv and mainly focusing on breathing. Still, 5 stars! Review: Fantastic machine - I've been doing Pilates for over 20 years and had owned an expensive reformer. Prefer this little unit. Easy to use. Folds if necessary. Compact and simple. Like the stationary bike that I bought from desertcart a few years ago, I use the reformer daily. Can't believe that I didn't have to pay much more to get a machine that fulfills all of my needs. If you need a Pilates box for placing on top of the reformer, check widths. This machine has a narrow bed and has limits for height adjustments. Not suitable for anyone very tall or short bc the machine doesn't have the ability to adjust the length of distance between the bed and foot bar. Also has only three levels of tension. I'm 5'5" and normal weight and it's perfect for my size. ## Features - Adjustable resistance with 3 heavy-duty, elastic bungee cords - Black steel frame; padded Gray platform (17.5 inch wide) - Padded foot bar; high density foam shoulder pads; padded, 3-position Adjustable head rest; foam hand & foot straps for added comfort; six non-skid supports, two on each end and two in the middle, for added stability - Two DVDs: introduction to Aero Pilates; Aero Pilates level 1 pure Pilates; aero Pilates full-color workout wall chart - Foldable frame with wheels for easy portability and storage; easily adjust the rope length at the hand/foot straps ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B01FMODVAE | | Best Sellers Rank | #392,281 in Sports & Outdoors ( See Top 100 in Sports & Outdoors ) #126 in Pilates Reformers | | Brand | AeroPilates | | Brand Name | AeroPilates | | Color | Gray | | Customer Reviews | 4.3 out of 5 stars 345 Reviews | | Global Trade Identification Number | 00022643542877 | | Handle Type | Adjustable, Strap | | Included Components | AeroPilates Reformer 287 | | Item Dimensions D x W x H | 85.25"D x 17.5"W x 9"H | | Item Highlight | Home gym with Adjustable Headrest; Padded Foot Bar; 3 Resistance Cords; And 2 Workout DVDs | | Item Type Name | Pilates Reformer | | Item Weight | 56 pounds | | Manufacturer | Stamina Products, Inc. - DROPSHIP | | Manufacturer Part Number | 55-4287 | | Material | Steel frame, vinyl upholstered carriage, nylon ropes, foam hand/foot straps | | Material Type | Steel frame, vinyl upholstered carriage, nylon ropes, foam hand/foot straps | | Maximum Weight Recommendation | 300 pounds | | Model Number | 55-4287 | | Number of Items | 1 | | Product Dimensions | 85.25"D x 17.5"W x 9"H | | Strap Type | Foam | | Tension Level | 300 pounds | | Tension Supported | 300 pounds | | UPC | 022643542877 | | Unit Count | 1 Count | | Warranty Description | 3 Years Frame; 90 Days Parts | ## Product Details - **Brand:** AeroPilates - **Color:** Gray - **Item Weight:** 56 pounds - **Material:** Steel frame, vinyl upholstered carriage, nylon ropes, foam hand/foot straps - **Product Dimensions:** 85.25"D x 17.5"W x 9"H ## Images ![Stamina Products AeroPilates 287 Pilates Reformer Machine - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/61rN6PJ88SL.jpg) ## Questions & Answers **Q: Is there a stand that works with the pilates reformer 287? i want to ift it off thr ground a bit. i think it is called a stand** A: Yes, there is. It was delivered earlier than stated, albeit 2 days later than promised. It was easy to put together with clear instructions, and is much better quality than I expected. I'm excited to use it. ## Frequently Bought Together - AeroPilates Reformer Home Workout Equipment, Pilates Machine w/Resistance - AeroPilates Box & Pole – Pilates Reformer Accessory for Strength, Balance & Flexibility – Includes Support Pole, Strap & Instructional Workout Video – Compatible with Pilates Reformers - TOBWOLF Pilates Straps - Double Loop D-Ring Straps for Reformer, Padded, Home Gym Workout --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.jp/products/29539926-stamina-products-aeropilates-287-pilates-reformer-machine](https://www.desertcart.jp/products/29539926-stamina-products-aeropilates-287-pilates-reformer-machine) --- *Product available on Desertcart Japan* *Store origin: JP* *Last updated: 2026-10-03*
