Awesome Bars!
Oh boy, where do I even begin with these Kirkland signature protein bars? Let me just say that my taste buds are doing the macarena right now! First off, the texture is just right. It's chewy but not too much, and it's not like those other protein bars that taste like you're biting into gravel. These bars are softer than a baby's bottom and they are packed with flavor. Speaking of flavors, have you tried the chocolate brownie one? I don't even know how they did it, but it tastes like a legit brownie. I'm convinced there are tiny little chocolate fairies working tirelessly in the Kirkland factory to make these bars extra delicious. And let's not forget about the peanut butter flavor. It's like eating a spoonful of creamy peanut butter, minus the weird looks from your coworkers. Trust me, I've been there. But the best part? These bars have a jaw-dropping 21 grams of protein. That's more than enough to power through a workout or just power nap on your couch, whichever you prefer. Overall, these Kirkland signature protein bars deserve all five stars and a standing ovation. I just hope they don't raise the price because I might have to sell my soul to pay for them.

Doesn't Give Me Gas
These protein bars are the only ones that don't give me gas. If you are embarrassed about passing gas while doing sit-ups in the gym, these are the perfect protein bar. They taste good, too, except for the peanut butter ones. I love peanut butter, but those don't taste great. The price is inflated. It is cheaper to purchase these from Costco, but they don't ship overseas. I have had an issue on occasion where the inside plastic film of the wrapper separated from the foil and stuck to the bar. The first time this happened I didn't notice until I had eaten three quarters of the bar. Let's just say that the plastic film didn't pass well. A few other times that happened I simply peeled the plastic film from the bar. Buy these at COSTCO if you can and save yourself about $10 a box.

Of all the Kirkland protein bars, these are the best
Forget the peanut butter ones or the cookies and cream flavor. The chocolate chip cookie dough and chocolate brownie flavors are the best ones. They're my favorite protein bars in general - not just out of the brands sold at Costco. They help me reach my protein goals, and they stave off hunger for a few hours. I don't have a Costco nearby anymore, so I was pleased to see I could get these on Amazon with Prime free delivery.

An overall good bar
This tasted far different than most comparable protein bars. There was a graininess that was not expected and the flavor tasted like whatever syrup or powder or such was used was not fully mixed into the bars. But on the whole, it was a wonderful value (was about $25 when I bought it) for the amount of protein. It should be slightly heated before eating, though. I usually have coffee at lunch/snack time so I set the partially unwrapped bar over my mug and let the steam from the coffee heat the bar for a few minutes. The bar ends up being a somewhat tacky consistency (tootsie roll-like) and takes a bit of chewing. There is a bit of an overly sweetened flavor, particularly with the chocolate, but not unlike chocolate ice cream. There is definitely a coco flavor but it's much more like bittersweet chocolate. The cookie dough flavor is kind of variable but has much less flavor of any kind. However, again, for the value these are excellent for the macros, for keeping full, for carrying around throughout the day and for something that will keep you full and content after a workout or at midday.

Great Item
I used to buy these from Costco but they were out of stock so I bought them here. I have yet to find another protien bar that costs this cheap and keeps the cals and sugar so low while still tasting pretty good.

Recommend staying away from both flavors for the slim per bar savings.
I bought these as a possible replacement to quest bars due to how many I eat(1-2 per day). The flavor varieties are limited to just these two, but the cost savings depending on where you buy your quest bars can be in the range of $0.60 to $1+ per bar. I tried both bars today. The brownie one is flat out horrible. 0/5 if I could. The flavor profile reminds me of cheap chocolate, and actually trying to eat the bar is essentially like chewing gum. After about chewing my first bite of the bar for about 30 seconds I spit it out and moved onto the next one. The chocolate cookie dough one is subpar at best. Might be worth a 1.5-2/5. I was actually able to chew and swallow my bite of this one, but rather than tasting like cookie dough, or even like a cookie dough imitation, which is what the somewhat okay quest bar version does for this flavor, it instead tastes like it is instead trying to mimic the flavor of something trying to mimic the flavor of cookie dough. So what you end up with is a worse version of the quest bar version of this flavor which is already only alright in its own right, and is one of their weakest bars in their lineup. In the end, someone at Kirkland decided it would be a good idea to take two of the worst quest bar flavors, and then make even cheaper versions of them, which in the end is reflected by the barely palatable taste of each. I wouldn't recommend anyone buying these. I'll try to see if someone I know likes them as maybe they wouldn't mind taking 18 free protein bars. In the end the only way these compare to the quest bars, is in their macro nutrient counts. In the end though, I signed up for 5 boxes of quest bars a month until I get a decent stock pile so I can take advantage of the 15% discount. That puts my price at $20-$21 per box or $1.75 per quest bar compared to ~$1.35 per bar for these. It is well worth the extra $0.40 per bar so I am not revolted by what I am eating and can actually enjoy the product I am paying for.

These are excellent protein bars. Some of the best available, in my opinion. They are really good because of the extremely high levels of protein (35%) and fiber (16.7%) in them. Combined with very low sugar (3.3%), low saturated fat (4.2%), and low salt (0.3%), it makes them very healthy. These features give them a rare score of "Good" in the Yuka app, whereas 90% of protein bars are rated "Poor" or "Bad". They taste great as well. They taste a bit like Soreen malt loaf bread, but more dense. Other good things: 1 - The label says "60 g", but they usually weigh 62 grams. 2 - A new pack will normally have about 4 months for the "best before" date, making them last a long time in your cupboard. The only negative is the price. They are quite expensive compared to other protein bars. And they're only available from one seller in the USA, which adds additional cost for the delivery fee.

タンパク質、脂質、炭水化物のバランスも良く、アスリートには、最適!特にアメリカのプロテインバーとしては大変珍しくアメリカ的甘さでなく、日本人にもぴったりの甘味!これは使います。

These bars taste terrible and leave a bad lingering aftertaste. They also have an unappealing testure.
