Thank you Desert Creek for this fantastic honey. I love it and will order it again! One thing that was a little confusing was the weight so I looked it up. This may be helpful to others. You may want to put some of this information about the weight of honey on your amazon page and/or your webpage.Is honey heavier than water?If you’re measuring out water, then 1 fluid ounce of water, which is a measurement of volume, weighs exactly 1 ounce.However, because honey is so much denser than water, it weighs a good deal more.This means that 1 fluid ounce of honey will actually weigh a little bit more than 1 ounce.How much does 16 fluid ounces of honey weigh?Sixteen fluid ounces or 1 pint of water is almost always exactly 16 ounces or 1 pound in weight, except for when the temperature of the water is very warm.Honey, however, is much heavier. I nave been using Desert Creek Honey for about 3 years and have been buying the small bottles until my latest purchase when I bought a gallon. In that we live in N. Texas, where Desert Creek is located we are getting locally collected honey which is more effective in our diet.The honey is very good and a good replacement for sugar in many areas of our diet.

Great tasting honey. Packaging needs a revamp! 2nd Review of the honey spilling all over box due to faulty top. What would it take to put a plastic tamper proof cap on the se heavy bottles? This is an expensive product and spilling a cup or more out of each gallon is ridiculous.

The honey is thin this year but as a beekeeper I have also had my honey thin it is due to the time the honey is pulled for harvest. The longer it sits in the honey comb the thicker it gets. The dark color is due to the type of flowers in the area which darker usually means more nutrients and beneficial effects. Which is what brought me to buy the darker honey to begin with. I've had this honey before and I trust the company because bees and the flowers they go to can vary just like each season of harvest. Thankful to get dark honey locally.
