Works well does the job it's supposed to do no issues

Working great. Easy to use

I use it for gold hunting. It can find larger pieces of metal, even partially submerged. It is not great for smaller pieces of gold. It's sensitivity isn't fine enough. For the price is is a nice little sturdy detector. Great for coins, jewelry and scrap. Not so much for the tinyer specimens.

Perfecto me encanto

I needed to locate a ground rod that was buried under dome new sod. I knew it could be no more than two inches beneath the sod and expected this to locate it. At least I could follow the 6-gauge copper lead that was once attached.But it completely failed. I was disappointed because now I may need to disturb the new sod. Anyway, the ground rod is copper and six feet long so it should represent a good target. The copper lead wire was detectable only after I had removed all of the dirt covering it.As an experiment, I took some known gold-bearing dirt I had collected previously and added it to a gold pan. Sure enough, after some panning I was able to detect a tiny gold flake in the sand at the bottom of the pan.That is why I gave it 3 stars - it does detect gold from a distance of 1/4-inch. But it nearly useless for detecting other metals with anything covering the target.
