The product seems sturdy however the case is very cheap and it rips easily. No way to store this monstrosity without it so then the product becomes hard to manage. Also the mat needs something to keep it wrapped in the case as it uncoils and it’s hard to take out.

This is changing my life. I knew being grounded was the key to everything, but I needed an additional tool to help get me there. I'm so grateful for this.Here's my story:I'm eating things I haven't been able to in years, I'm sleeping all through the night, and finally able to release stress without trying a million different things to no avail. Even better, the extreme body pain I have felt daily for years is dissipating! I feel so relaxed while using this grounding mat + the effects are lasting longer each time I use it. It honestly feels like I'm on the beach while it's plugged into the ground part of the outlet (which was so weird to me at first, the one single round metal prong). My neighborhood is surrounded by concrete and rocks + the tiny grass patches near the sidewalks are used for animal waste, not sanitary for grounding or laying in. I needed something to help with my energy. I'd been experiencing health issues that turned chronic, nothing had offered consistent relief...Upon a panic attack one morning, I thought it would be the perfect time to test out the Hooga mat for the first time. I plugged it in and took child's pose placing my forehead in direct contact with the mat. Within seconds my heart and mind stopped racing, the tears dried up fast. I was able to go about my morning quickly after a few minutes when normally, that would have me running late, plus caused patterns of anxiety throughout the day creating even more blockages and stress within my body. The longer and more time I spend on the mat while it's plugged in, the longer the effects of benefit have begun to last off the mat.Because it helped settle the panic attack I was experiencing so well, I decided to try it out during times of anxiousness, for example when having tough coaching calls online, and even when painting and planning my new art business (which normally causes stress, burnout, procrastination, and avoidance). The last 3 art pieces I've created while being grounded look so much more advanced than what I had previously been creating. I feel relaxed, confident, and at ease. The emotions are flowing instead of getting stuck! I'm becoming a better artist and person RAPIDLY, like what?I love that the mat is vegan leather, and the grounding cord is super long, 15ft. It's also super thick and great for doing yoga or meditating. Very comfy. If you're sensitive to subtle energy, this is a must!My fiancé who doesn't always believe in this type of stuff tried out my new grounding mat... While we were eating dinner he started feeling unwell so I had him take off his socks, plugged in the mat, and placed it beneath our feet while continuing to eat. We were able to finish the whole meal... after, he got so relaxed that he kept dozing off. Each time upon waking he'd say how much the Hooga mat relaxed him and it was the first time in a long time he felt content. He informed me he slept all through the night too which isn't normal for him, he's been experiencing insomnia since childhood. I'd like to get him a smaller grounding mat to place beneath his feet while he works at his office desk for +8hrs a day and get a fitted grounding bed sheet for us too.The only downside to this mat so far is 2 things:1) it HAS to be in direct contact with SKIN, clothes short circuit the ground. I'm often cold, so wearing shorts, no socks and a tee shirt with blankets bundled over the top of me is quite a chore.2) It doesn't come with a grounding tester and they stopped selling or making the extra accessory available for purchase when I bought this.Side tip: I tried wearing Bluetooth wireless headphones to meditate while having the grounding mat plugged in and started to get a severe migraine. Normally this mat has been relieving my migraines so this was strange to me. As soon as I took off the headphones, the migraine settled. Not sure if others have had the same experience but wanted to mention it.I definitely plan on making more purchases in the future, but so far this is a fantastic start. I can't wait to see all that I can now achieve this year!

I feel I has helped me reduce anxiety that comes with chronic illness. Not sure if it’s a placebo type of effect but I’ll do anything to calm my fight or flight response I get with POTS and SVT. I use it every time I workout and meditate. I definitely feel more at ease. It’s nice and thick, firm but soft and cushioned at the same time. The cord is long enough. Really love it. I do slip a bit when my palms are too sweaty but I think it’s no more different than any other yoga mat.
