Worth it.
I have been eyeing this desk for a while now. When I first found it at Amazon, it was only $289.99, which isn’t a bad price for such a large desk. By the time I ordered it, the price had changed to $359.99. I purchased the “rustic oak” color. This color costs the most of all options. On my computer monitor, the color looked more tan than what it really is. I have attached photos so you can see the color. It’s actually a gray-brown. It just so happens to match my wood flooring perfectly. My office has beige carpet, and this color complements it beautifully. I’m not at all disappointed in the discrepancy in color. It’s not exactly what I thought it would be but matches a lot of the wood in my house already, so it works out well. The desk ships in two cartons. Mine was delivered through Fed Ex, who is notorious for delivering packages to the wrong houses in my neighborhood, and this was no exception. First package—delivered a few houses down. Luckily, I heard the truck and got the driver to deliver the first box to my house. He informed me that the second box was with the overflow driver and would be delivered later in the day. The second box was delivered perfectly with no issues. One positive: my desk arrived two days after I ordered it, and I did not pay for expedited shipping. I was pleasantly surprised by that. These boxes are quite heavy (for me). The box with the top of the desk is also cumbersome. There was no damage to either box. Everything was well-wrapped and the boxes contained a good amount of foam and packing materials to cushion each piece. In terms of assembling this desk: Take all of the pieces out and put them in some kind of order that works for you. Give yourself plenty of space to work. Make sure that the number stickers are on each piece. My number eight board kept losing its sticker. Prop up the desktop out of the way. You won’t need that until a little later. Be sure that all pieces are included and check for damage. I had no missing parts and no damage, but it does happen sometimes. The shorter box has instructions on top and hardware in a bag with a red piece of plastic attached. (See photo). Mine included enough hardware plus one extra piece for each type.Familiarize yourself with instructions, desk pieces, and hardware before getting started. Finally, and this is a big one: take your time. The instructions say sixty minutes. It might take you an hour. It took three hours for me to complete the desk. I like to take my time and get the process right. I recommend that you do the same. Here’s what you’ll need: a Phillips and a flathead screwdriver. (Or a drill.) Box cutters or a knife to open the boxes. A drink, a snack, and some good music are not necessary but useful. The instructions are easy to follow. They are pictures with little insets to show which hardware pieces you need for each step. If you make a mistake, it’s easy to undo your progress and fix the problem. I had to do that a couple of times, and I have built my fair share of flat-packed furniture. The top of the desk can be difficult to secure if you’re assembling it alone. It might resist. I continued to make sure that hardware and pre-drilled holes were aligned. I also adjusted the locking screws a few times so that everything was flush. This is partly what took so long for me to finish the desk. The top was the most difficult part for me but only because it’s bulky and needed some adjustments. It might seem tough to slide the drawers the first time. After opening and closing a few times, they worked fine. The drawers open quietly and close softly. The drawer pulls are metal, which surprised me.This desk is exactly what I needed. It’s gorgeous and sturdy. The top provides an ample work space. The rustic oak looks beautiful with a black executive chair. Five stars—it was worth the trouble and the wait. Highly recommend. I hope this (extra long) review helps.

Nice desk!
Very nice desk! Exactly what we wanted for our office. The tracks on the drawers were a little annoying because some of them came out while being assembled so that made the process longer. Other than that, assembly was not bad and the desk is a great size. I would definitely recommend this product.

Great looking and functional desk
Great looking desk, nice and big, lots of space under for chair, deep drawers, nice hardware, sturdy bases and top. Drawers function well. Goes together fairly well in an hour or so. I like mine so much my wife is most likely going to get one for her side of the office/den.

Sharp, sturdy desk!
I love the desk! It is a very sharp looking desk! Very sturdy, easy to put together. I would have given five stars but I taped a sticky note to the desk with regular scotch tape and when I peeled it off, it pulled the finish off revealing a white spot underneath. Laminate finish should be able to withstand a piece of tape but I would not even stick a post-it note on it for fear of it lifting the finish off. I would recommend purchasing a piece of glass for the top to protect. Otherwise, it was a great purchase!

Not quite worth the price, build quality too low for $300 desk.
Assembly is complex, but instructions are well written. Quality of the wood is too low, not dense enough and I worry about the longevity of the desk. Screws in the back of the drawers should be replaced with the standard locking solution, as screws do not set well into the low quality MDF board used. This desk is built like a sub $200 desk. I would not recommend as longevity of fit and finish are concerns.

Nice looking desk. It had a couple of dings but not too noticeable.

Buy this desk
I had to outfit 3 offices and I purchased this desk for one of them. My only regret is that I didn't get this desk for all 3. I've assembled a lot of furniture over the last few months and while this one wasn't the easiest it wasn't the hardest either. The quality is great and the finsh and sturdiness is excellent. The instructions say you need two people however, I was able to do it on my own. Take your time amd don't rush and you'll be more than happy. I only needed a 2nd hand when i installed the drawers. The manufacturers thought of everything including the colors of the screws.

Good spacious desk
This desk provides plenty of space to have PC, laptop and still have room to work. Assembly was pretty easy, but will require two people to safely assemble the desktop section. There was slight damage to one side piece, but it was likely done during shipping and I will paint that area to hide the damage.
