This really is the only tanning lotion I would ever use and ever recommend! I do mix mine with body lotion to have it last longer in gradual shades, and its beautiful. I do wish the price would be more genuine, as it is cheaper on the actual website. And really dissappointed as the last 2 times I tried ordering it here it was out of stock and I had to be refunded. I’m an amazon girl, so don’t enjoy ordering off of other websites. But please, if you’re out of stock, update your status!

Best self tanner on the market. No strong smell or the “self tan” smell best natural color and dark. I’m pale & blonde and people always compliment me on color. They think it’s a natural tan Lol. The tint does run in the water though but I don’t swim! And it’s easy to re apply- use gloves and it’s perfect.

Sun Laboratories Ultra Dark Self Tanning Lotion is the real thing. It delivers a pure bronze tan that'll knock your socks off. I'll explain.. I've been self tanning now for just under four months and initially I went with Jergens Natural Glow which, is good though doesn't really produce results that are immediately noticable. Even after repeated applications the "Glow" produced is very subtle, delivering basically just a bit of color. This tanning lotion is competitively priced, goes on smooth and doesn't have an unpleasant scent. Jergens is good for a catchall backup tanner. Next I tried Banana Boat Summer Color which is similar to Jergens though produces just a bit more tanning effects. Another good backup tanner that delivers a low/medium range tan that is very inexpensive. I've been researching deeper color tanning lotions and read the great reviews of Sun Laboratories Ultra Dark Self Tanning Lotion in Amazon, therefore I gave the darkest shade a try. I was thoroughly shocked and delighted by the instant bronze glow this tanner produced. Excellent is an understatement for the deep glowing bronze tan this lotion immediately produces. This tanner is absolutely perfect, even better than St. Tropez. Extreme high quality here. It's a total game changer yet there are some facts that one needs to know before the initial application. This tanning lotion is very dark brown. It reminds me of hair color/tint. It's almost necessary to wear plastic gloves as it immediately adheres to the skin. Be careful not to get too much on your skin. After your tanning is completed it does take a few hand washes to get it off. If not careful, you'll stain your hands. This lotion is extremely intense and pure. I immediately noticed a delightful cherry 🍒scent to this lotion. Sweet and pleasant, really nice. Utilizing a tanning mit and back tanning mit are absolutely essential when using this tanning lotion, or any self-tanning lotion of course. This self-tanning lotion goes on pure and smooth and you can immediately see where your coverage extends. It's absolutely fantastic. An immediate tan is produced yet it gets even better. As your completing your body tanning coverage you'll notice it gets even darker. I wanted to go "super dark" therefore I tanned with this lotion two days in a row. My body coverage was perfect yet when applying the lotion to my face it got even darker. Wow! Rather than panic I decided to touch up areas on my body that needed a bit more coverage and then noticed that the facial blend after a while does balance out and blend in really nice. Just be careful as to how much lotion you're applying. Don't over apply too much. This Self tanning lotion will produce a deep bronze tan easily 2-3 shades darker for most complexions. Personally, I have a fair complexion with a nice amount of natural color. This self-tanning lotion has allowed me to go the approximately three shades darker that I desired. Incidentally, I use a blending brush when applying self tanning lotion to my face. I purchased a two-pack in Amazon for around five dollars and they last for years. I highly recommend the brush when applying tanner lotion or mousse to the face. You can't go wrong. Blending in self-tanning lotion is quick and painless. A done deal. Also, I apply moisturizer shortly before the application of self tanning lotion. Moisturizing allows the tanning effect to blend smoothly rather than clinging to dry areas leaving that unbalanced, blotchy, streaked look. Believe me, I've been there. The last couple of months for me have been a complete crash course in competent self tanning factors and procedures. I also apply moisturizer on days when I'm not self tanning, which extends that smooth, perfectly tanned look. As far as moisturizers go, I recommend Jergens, eos and Schick Hydro Silk Shave Cream & 24 Hour Moisturizer. They're competitively priced here in Amazon and are all extreme high quality. In all honesty, I think eos produces a smoothness unparalleled by any other moisturizer that I've tried so far. I've included photos demonstrating the research I've done on self tanning lotions and moisturizers. As you can see, I've built up quite a selection of both. Proper moisturizing before and in-between self tanning is essential in extending the life of that tan. I wait 8-10 hours before showering and this is where time, patience, attention to detail and caution payoff. The tan and glow produced here is absolutely perfect. A deep, pure, glowing beautiful tan is revealed after showering. Totally amazing, stunning and perfect. Sun Laboratories does offer self tanning lotion for the face only, which I haven't tried yet. It produces a gradual tanning effect rather than the immediate tan produced by their regular/dark body lotion. I'll be ordering it shortly. You'll see in the pics I included here the other self tanners I previously used before I tried the Sun Laboratories self-tanning lotion as noted above. They will not be purchased again. This Self tanning lotion is in that class of the very best, highest quality self tanning lotion currently available to us self tanners. It's priced under thirty dollars for the large size so that makes it very competitive price wise. Again, the quality here is second to none. This Self tanning lotion has honestly earned my very highest recommendation for results immediately experienced, that sweet cherry scent and price. Sun Laboratories has knocked it out of the park, a grand slam on every level. I won't hesitate to purchase this self tanning lotion again. The results produced here are absolutely awesome. Nothing short of amazing.✨

This is the best tanner I've used and I've been using tanning creams for probably 20 years when they used to be stinky and leave a nice orange hue on your skin. I rarely get streaking and it will last for a couple of days which is pretty normal. I'm a super fair redhead so it's plenty dark enough for me. Will come off if you swim or sweat but I've yet to find a cream that doesn't.
