Merkur Progress 500 Adjustable DE Safety Razor, Short Handle

I saw this razor on the internet by fluke during lockdown days and instantly fell in love with its simplistic retro design and when I read online reviews about it, I got reason to believe that it would perform as good as it looked, but it wasn’t available in India and importing was not a road I’d take with customs and shipping sometimes raising the value exponentially, so I decided to wait until someone came from the US where it is listed at about ₹5500, so I waited. Recently I heard that an Indian dealer got authorised to sell online and this is the offering, as you can see, at internationally pegged prices with a slight variation, but good enough to buy locally hassle free.Much appreciated that dealers are bringing quality wares to our country for the citizenry to experience superlative goods, this being one of them, having stood the rest of time, the Merkur progress is a versatile performer, one of the best razors that my money has bought, and trust me you, I have bought a few over the past year.So go on and invest your good money into something equally worth it.The only problem I have now is to figure out what to do with my cache of razors which this fantastic German adjustable razor has rendered redundant. Sigh!All in all, elated, more so because now we have a dealer in India.
