Not the type I expected, but works great to secure an small outlet strip to formica back-splash in kitchen (after I cleaned the area with isopropyl alcohol). Strong enough, hasn't come off with daily use. A bit thicker loops than other types. Overall, very good.

Holds well and removes easily. It does let go if jolted. For example: I use this to hold lipo batteries on the front end of crawlers and trail rigs. If it hit nose first the velcro lets go and I have to reset it.

October 09, 2025 I received these Alfa-Lok fasteners yesterday. I needed something to mount my USB hub to the computer desk for easier access and to keep it from sliding all over the place. I tried regular Velcro in the past but the hub always moved around a lot causing the sticky side to either slip or fall off. This Alfa-Lok fastener holds the USB hub perfectly still. There's no movement in it at all. It's solid. I just tried moving the hub and it doesn't move. I'm super impressed with these fasteners and will be purchasing more. I have a number of things that I would prefer were mounted to the back of the desk so that I could clear some much needed space as well as hide a lot of wiring. These fasteners are amazing and solid. I just hope I never have to pull them apart. They're a son of a gun to get apart. I should also mention that the hub casing is plastic and the fastener still hasn't let go. The hub gets a lot of of use. I'm always plugging in external drives and thumb drives and there is still no movement. These things are amazing. Also, always remember to clean the surface you're going to be sticking these to. As with any other adhesive, the surface needs to be clean. I used alcohol (not the drinking kind) to clean the hub and the desk. Works very well and the fasteners haven't slipped or came off yet. I would definitely recommend these fasteners. Update December 30, 2025 These fasteners are the best I've ever used and I've used a lot of Velcro in my life. I used it to mount my USB hub to the side of my desk. It's still a solid mount. The hub doesn't move at all. Not the tiniest little bit. Very solid. I use the hub daily and it never moves. I'm totally satisfied with these ALFA-LOK Fasteners I would definitely recommend these to anyone who wants a solid mount.
