This chalk block does exactly what you expect it to do. Improves grip drastically and helps max out your reps. I’m a beginner calisthenics athlete and got told to buy chalk from my trainer. All I can say is that this made the difference between getting 8 reps in versus getting 12 reps in.

This gym chalk does exactly what it’s supposed to do. The block itself is soft to the touch and creates a very fine, thin powder when you use it. It breaks easily if you want to snap off clumps or use a chunk instead of powder, but it’s still durable enough that it doesn’t just crumble apart in your bag. I keep mine in a Ziploc bag inside my gym bag. Before deadlifts, I just dip my hands in, rub them together, and I’m good to go. It gives a great grip on the barbell and makes a noticeable difference during heavy lifts. I haven’t had any issues with it at all. It is what it is — gym chalk. Nothing fancy, nothing overly priced, and nothing bad to say for the type of use I’m using it for. Five stars from me!
