Good basic protection and stylish to boot!
Wonderful case. Grips well in my hand but slides in and out of pockets easily. Fits like a glove, the holes and buttons all line up perfectly, and there are ample ridges to protect the screen and camera lens. I have the black case on my black G4 phone and it looks very smart. Not the heaviest duty protection, but you can set it down on any hard flat surface without worries of scratching, and it stays in your hand rather than sliding out. And I am not a "dropper" so this is all the protection I need. (Even if I DID drop it, the odds are the case would protect it unless I was on a rocky road or really uneven gravel driveway) I looked through a lot of other cases online before selecting this one, and I couldn't be happier.

An excellent, basic and inexpensive cover with no ergonomic issues
An excellent flexible plastic cover that will serve a "typical" user well. However, it is far from bullet proof. If you drop the phone often or from heights above your waist, sooner or later this will likely fail you. But the compromises allow for a comfortable size, that fits easily in a pocket or purse. It isn't slick, but it also isn't tacky. I like this because it doesn't tend to slip out of my hand, but it still slips easily into and out of my pocket, unlike tacky and bulkier rubber cases. It slips on easily, the button interfaces all work just as easily as when I had no case. Plenty of space for most typical audio pin and usb plugs. Nothing to complain about, looks good and should wear well.

Adds protection and grip with no bulk!
I'd love to be able to add a thick case to this phone so it'd do better in a fall. But given the size of the Moto G already, this case is a very nice compromise offering *some* protection, a better grip and adding virtually no bulk to the phone. Plus it keeps your camera slightly lifted away from whatever surface your phone lays upon.The rubberized sides are really nice for when you're holding the phone, and much better than without the cover. The cover fits tightly, and matches up with all the holes while still providing use of headphone and charger slots. The buttons are still easy to press and also protected by the case.Another reviewer posted that the case sits flush with the back of the phone providing no raised protection for the camera and that just isn't true. I've attached a picture that shows an etching I did with a pen that clearly shows that case is slightly higher than the camera lens (which is probably gorilla glass anyway).And it is thin enough that the phone + case still fits into my VR viewer without having to take it out of the case each time. (And since I've had it 100% of my falls have been when messing with the VR viewer, so that's the time I most need the case!)

and would provide better protection than the "slim" model
I originally purchased the "heavy duty" case for the Moto 4G on Amazon from Cimo tech. It was well made, and would provide better protection than the "slim" model. But the "heavy duty" version is far too bulky for my taste. It's difficult to extract from my jean's pockets and the attached, rigid hard shell, make it hard to apply/remove the cover. The "heavy duty" version was not for me. So I ordered the "slim" version and received it today.Perfect for my needs. It easily slips into, and out of, my pockets. The raised rim, and cushioned corners, seems like it will protect against most drops, other than face-plants on a surface that is not flat. The back is nice and grippy and all of the cut-outs are perfect. Plus the side button covers seem to work better than the ones on the "heavy-duty" version.I'm a happy camper, with the Cimo Tech slim version, and expect that I will keep it on my phone 24-7.

This case DOES NOT FIT a Motorola G4 phone
This cover is advertised as being for the Moto G4 and Moto G4 Plus. These are two phones of different sizes: one cover cannot possibly fit both. I have a G4 and I received a cover for a G4 Plus. It obviously doesn't fit my phone as it's for a bigger phone. Don't buy this cover until Amazon sorts out this product listing and lists the two covers separately.

Not a good design.
This case could have done a better job. It's not fancy at all but does have edges that give you a "sticky" grip. The back is smooth and does not grip well. The holes are cut out well enough that you have access to your camera, mics and charging port but they're not cut out perfectly so the features aren't centered in the hole very well. The edges of this case are weak. For such a big phone, you're gonna lint and other foreign objects working their way into the sides pretty easily because they're flimsy and don't have hardly any lip.

Great Slim Phone Case
This fits my phone really well. The slim design may not look like it helps but it protects it from bumps and corner scrapes. I can easily attach accessories to the port and the cover doesn't get in the way. It's comfortable to hold, and because there's no weird shapes, it feels like there's nothing on your phone. Overall this product is a nice simple cover for your phone if you don't like anything too flashy or crazy.

great case; good price
exactly what I expected, a nice, non-intrusive, non-bulky case. should protect from minor falls from the look and feel of it.for those interested in what it looks like, the case uses a nonslip rubber on the sides of the case, and on the back it has a nice matte finish/texture.additionally, the case fits perfectly in every aspect. it leaves additional room around the USB (charger) port, headphone jack, and around the camera. the buttons are also textured so that they can be easily distinguished.all in all, the perfect case for around eight bucks.
