So, I took 2 out of the package, shook them and put them in my bed, not touching me, but not far away. I covered up with 4 blankets and in about 15 - 20 minutes, I could feel the warmth. It lasted all night. The power came on about 7 am and the furnace came back on. I was however, nice and warm under the blankets due to these. It allowed me to get sleep. When I got up, they were still warm. It saved my night and my sanity. Because of that night, I now keep some if my vehicle with my emergency kit. I cannot say enough!

**Q: what do you mean by 40 pairs? 40 packets that have 2 each totally 80? or just 40 in total?**
A: I received a box with 40 pairs with 2 warmers in each pair totally 40. Only item not so great is the expiry date - less than 2 years.

**Q: Can you put them in your sleeping bag for a 30' camping trip?**
A: A 30 foot camping trip is 15 people, right? One box of 40 would allow 30 feet one packet each, with 10 extra left over. If it’s a two day 30 footer camping trip, get 2 boxes.

These are a must for cold mornings. I use them regularly for early morning workouts, and they stay warm for a long time without getting uncomfortably hot. I also keep extra packs in my car and occasionally hand them out to gate guards on freezing mornings.
