It’s hard to get it at the height you want. I have a tripod for it and every tiny movement disrupts the level and it takes forever for it to settle back on the spot. Unless you have a chair/ladder or something at the perfect height to set it on, it’s hard to get the cross where you want/need it.

Magnetic - so it locks onto doors or metal within walls. Stays where you put it and throws a visible cross-hair beam. Accurate.

I used this to install herringbone pattern backsplash which helped a lot during my installation process. Our kitchen counter is not even so I know I cannot start all the bottom cuts based just basing on the counter line that is against the wall. The laser helped me a lot too while continuing the pattern to the adjacent wall.

Perfect for leveling my 12x24 shed. Works great inside in dim lights but for the shed I used it outside after sunset. Once beam is level, marked each post by attaching a string. Next morning we jack the shed to correspond to the string. Worth the money for small jobs.

This is a great laser however mine did not come with the magnetic holder.

Does what it is supposed to do and beats spending hundreds at big box store. Makes hanging shelves straight very easy, and aligning pictures simple.Edit: The self-leveling function is wildly inconsistent. The lasers are crisp and straight but not always level if I verify it manually.

Seemed to be the best value of one these on Amazon, and it comes with a magnetic bracket, unlike similar models. Mounting it to a step ladder works well to get exactly the required height.The red laser is easily bright enough in a medium sized room at day time. Checked the level vs a spirit level, and it's spot on. Obviously for a single item a spirit level is better, but for lining up several pictures on a wall it's perfect.

Came to use this laser after a couple of months to find that it didn't work, contacted the seller as i had on had it for a few months and only used it for a couple of jobs, they didn't question anything and sent a replacement out the same day, by the following day i had my new laser to be able to continue with my work.

I'm happy to get it for my wall painting. It really saved my time to measure the level and height. Great price with big help to make my room beautiful. Highly recommended.
