## Description

The unadorned machine-made Viognier and chardonnay glass of the light-weight glass collection Riedel Veritas distinguishes lighter, finer and being suitable for long term daily use at home. The classic Riedel shape allows young wines to express all their invigorating freshness, while more mature wines are encouraged to deliver the nutty, spicy, mineral flavors. This glass is designed that the low acidity is delivered in a way that sets off the alcohol and rich flavors of the wine, highlighting its velvety, supple texture, emphasizing the fruit and ensuring a long, balanced finish. Riedel Veritas combines the charm of a handmade glass with the consistent accuracy only a machine made glass can achieve. All Riedel glasses are dishwasher safe.

Review: Much, much better for Chardonnay, Oaked or not, than the Oaked Chardonnay glass - we have essentially all the veritable glasses, including the 'Oaked Chardonnay' glass. We have compared the two glasses while drinking Oaked/unbaked white burgundy, California chard, and Viognier. We don't have any insanely Oaked chard, just your usual Grigch, trefhen and other $40-60 bottles. In all cases this glass brings out MAANY MANY more favors, and according to my experience at the Riedel tasting experience, the real proof is the length of the finish, which is always longer with this glass. The difference is not subtle. I read a review by Parker of the Riedel glasses, which in loved except the "chard" glass, which he said doesn't do much. I would have to agree the Oaked glass doesn't do much, but this one will make a huge improvement in whatever you are drinking, California Oaked or not.
Review: Wine glasses - Thin, light comfortable to hold, accentuates the wine aroma

Thin, light comfortable to hold, accentuates the wine aroma

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Very high quality for the price
*by J***D on April 11, 2019*

I was looking for high-end white wine glasses that are very thin and light, yet stable and durable, and these are fantastic. They are the same quality as Reidel's finest crystal. They have a thin stem and a nice wide base which is wonderful. I've washed them over and over in the dishwasher with no problems. I'm going to order more!
