Can the seat be lifted for cleaning underneath without having to unbolt it from the original toilet seat/lid?

The riser bolts down to the toilet using bolts that pass through to also mount the toilet seat. So, the riser stays securely in place when you raise the seat (just like it's part of the toilet bowl). However, the riser can not be raised for cleaning under the riser without unbolting it.

My seat itself is 13.75x17. The bowl itself is 14x18 in front of bolts, 14x18.75 from back of bolts to front. Will this fit?

With the hardware that comes with the product you can secure the riser to a elongated commode. typically the existing seat and lid sit on top of the riser and the hardware that comes with the riser holds it all in place.

Your length is 19.2, my seat measures 17.5. Will this work for me?

Are risers supposed to move side to side?

Thank you for your question. If you feel that your riser is wobbling, you can also put washers on the bolts to better hold them in place. The wobbling can occur in a couple of situations. If your patient is leaning over to one side often it can cause the bolt on that side to loosen slightly. Also if the bolts aren't tightened properly.

Perfect height. Easy to install. No need to remove your current lid.

We got these because the toilets in a place we are leasing are super low. These were so easy to install and the existing toilet lid doesn't have to be removed. It stays on securely. For those who dont' want to replace the whole toilet, this is perfect. be sure you choose the right shape (Elongated or round). This one is for Elongated toilet.

Great installation and appearance

This toilet seat riser is much nicer than a different style I bought. You remove your existing seat and lid. Then put the riser in place, put the seat and lid on top, and rebolt the whole thing in place. So you are still using your regular seat. Much sturdier and more comfortable. Wish I’d found this one first.
