Nordic Naturals ProOmega-D Fish Oil, 1280 mg + 1000 IU D3-120 Softgels

I started taking fish oil and giving it to my children 4 or 5 years ago based on the research them. I know now they're saying the fish oil supplements are not as healthy as eating straight fish but really . . . is that a surprise? I can say that I feel it has helped my health and mental state! Nordic Naturals is a brand that I trust, and I did a lot of research on companies and sourcing prior to settling on them I feel the additional cost is worth the added safety and quality checks. My children use the Junior option in lemon flavor, and they chew them up. I use these, which have no lemon flavor, but I swallow them whole. I have not had any problems with fishy taste/burps/breath after taking them, but they are a large pill so are a little harder to swallow than the Ultimate Omega. I switched to this version because of the higher Omegas in each capsule and the added D, which allowed me to drop one of my supplements. Yes, it is slightly more expensive, but if you watch there are variations in price and at the right time you can get it for almost the same price as the smaller capsule.

Lots of scam products out there. This is not one of them. ProOmega is the brand recommended by my optometrist for dry eyes. It helped some, but not enough, so I take a double dose split through the day. I do occasionally get a burp, but it tastes like lemon. As an extra bonus, it also helps with cholesterol and dry skin. If you take this and it upsets your stomach, try splitting your dose. (Or suck it up and call it proof of good stuff!) It's not the cheapest product in the market, but I think it's the best value.

No fishy aftertaste like so many others

This is high powered fish oil which is what I wanted. I’m a senior citizen so pain is my normal! However, as I told my doctor, for the past month I can walk without pain and basically am pain free. We were trying to figure what change I had made because I suddenly was doing everything wrong. I had gained weight and had quit exercising. The only other thing was I had been taking these pills and quit taking my allergy pills. So now I’ve returned to exercise, am losing the weight again, and still no pain. So if these fish oil pills are the cause, I’ll stick with it!
