I usually wait a while before leaving reviews on products to ensure optimal use. But in within a few weeks of owning this watch I believe it has been tried and tested. On the con side, the numbers indicating the minutes are a bit difficult to read my 7 year old has had to squint quite a bit to read the numbers but I must admit he picked it up the general concept like a duck to water, I have never been more proud.On the pro side: In its first week this watch had been dropped two times, having read other reviews each time I thought "it was nice while it lasted" but surprisingly not even a scratch; even after dropping on the face one of those times. What however, led me to an early review stems from the fact that my son left this watch in his pocket, and it went through the washer and dryer and and wasn't discovered until the pant was being ironed. Surprisingly save for a few moisture spots which quickly dried out after a few days in a cup of rice, the watch made it out still ticking and without any noticeable scratches. Given how quickly my son was able to pick up the analog system because of this watch and the trials it has endured; it is definitely worth every penny spent.

Our son got this as a birthday present. He loves it, and has not taken it off since getting it. He is slowly learning time and is starting to understand the past and to concepts. Very much recommended for parents of kids everywhere. :)

Purchased for my 4 year old grandson and he had it for less than a week when the face popped off the wristband with no way to put it back on. He was only removing his coat when it snapped off. Debating whether or not to order another one as he absolutely loved it and was so upset when it broke. May need to find something sturdier.

I bought this watch for my grandson. He LOVES it and wears it everyday. In just a few minutes of receiving it, he’s already telling time. The directions that come with it, with its three steps, make it very easy to catch on. He has impressed his kindergarten teacher by being able to give her the correct time on an analog watch!!

My 11yo son likes this watch very much, checks the time first thing in the morning and several times through the day, giving him an overally very good sense of time. Very clear minimalist design (somehow reminds me of saxon math curriculum which we use), unlike some fancy shmancy watches, that we used in the past and which looked good, with glow in the dark display etc etc, only to fall apart within the first week of use. This one, excellent product, so far no crack or even a scratch, and my boy became very confident abt reading the time. Also, the strap fits securely and can be nicely adjusted around his slim wrist, unlike some watches with velcro fastening that we used previously, that were meant for a child and yet way too huge.

My son is 6.5 and got this watch and he knew straight away how to read it. He cannot (does not want to!) go to school without it and absolutely loves this watch! He even put it on his hand into a bucket of water and it survived (do not try it, it is splash resistant not waterproof) and I thought that is it - but no - watch survived! Amazing, thank you

This watch has been well thought out and it makes learning to tell the time easy but not a game. It is the seriousnessof the task that is attractive. Most watches to teach children to tell time, look like toys. This one is quite serious andfor that reason, I think a child pays more attention to it. My grandson was proud to wear it to school and learned to telltime quickly using it.

Bought this after reading the reviews.Good at teaching time. Son loved it however second hand broke after 5 months. Contacted the seller. Response was very quick so can't fault them on that. I was sent a replacement. Same day the strap holder came off. It took a lot of fiddling to fix it. I am not sure it won't come off again. I'm not trying to be pedantic. I will be looking to buy a different watch in the future.

Bought this for my 7yr old. He loves it, fits well, can put it on himself and learnt to tell the time the first day he wore it ! Fantastic little watch. The numbers on the face do look tiny to an adults eyes but kids seem to have no problems reading them. Cannot praise this enough!
