Buggy hub product with limited compatibility and no support
I am not sure what everyone on here is giving 5 star ratings for, as it can't possibly be this "BulbIT Zigbee Hub" that is supposed to easily control "thousands" of smart devices. I believe some of these reviews are for the colorful light bulbs that may come with the hub, and those may work nicely, but my review is solely for the hub itself. There was very little information available about this Hub on the amazon page, the manufacturer has no website that I could find, and no list of compatible devices was available. My CREE Smart light bulb stated it was compatible with "zigbee" hubs so I purchased this hub in the hope that it would sync with it. The hub is a tiny device not much larger than a thumb drive, packaged in a non-descript white box with a USB cable and AC plug, with one included sheet of "instructions" in broken English on a smeared and folded paper that was difficult to read. No online manual available, no tech support, nothing. The app itself is also full of bugs and all the prompts and instructions on the app are also in either Chinese or broken English. Needless to say, after tinkering with it for over an hour, I could not get it to work with my light bulb nor find any support to help make it work. I gave up and went to home depot and bought the wink hub for $15 more than this device, and I had it working and synced with the light bulb in less than 10 minutes. Save yourself the headache and just get a wink hub. I also hear good things about the Samsung Smarthings hub.
