We bought this for our 11 month old for freezing portions of food. We have been doing baby lead weening so wanted a portion divider that would allow us to freeze good sizes.The tray is divided into 9 compartments, each is 60ml which is enough for a portion of food. Brilliant product. Very easy to remove the cubes. I used a sharpie on the lid to number the cubes so I could keep track of what is contained in each section. A great purchase would definitely recommend

I really love these cube trays. I bought two and once the cubes of food are frozen, I dispense them into freezer bags and label them and then reuse the cube tray for the next meal prep. In the end you can have a really good stash of baby/toddler food that you just need to heat up and serve. The trays are sturdy and the lids stay on well so liquid food doesn't spill into your freezer but they are durable enough to empty the frozen contents really easily. They also wash well in the dishwasher. Portion size is good for a baby but even now that my toddlers are older, I still use them but use a couple of cubes instead. I have recommended them to my sister who also loves them too.

This has been a great little purchase.I'm weaning my daughter at the moment. We're on "mashes" (rather than purees).My system is, cook, portion to eat, freeze the rest. Divide into this food cube tray, freeze for 24hrs, decant into labelled ziplock bags... And I'm recording on my phone how many portions of everything I have, so that I can start combining them.The NUK food tray is fantastic for this. Nice, generous 60ml cubes. Food comes out very easily. Cleans well. Dishwasher safe, on the top shelf. Great little purchase!And when I'm done with it for weaning, it'll make great giant ice cubes for whiskey!

I find these very impractical.Firstly, it's difficult to open the plastic lid. You need to defreeze a little the whole container, and still struggle, to open the plastic lid. The flexible silicone lid woukd be much better.Also, the deep shape of each portion means it's dufficult to pop up each portion, and then take ages to defreeze. More shallow shape would be much better.The reason I give an extra star is that it's a good size portion and I didn't find any better option than these containers so far, so with the difficulties, but doing the job.I use silicone flexible ice cubes trays as much as possible and only use these containers if I have to.
