I bought these humidifiers to try them out. I used to have a big electric humidifier that died. It provided good humidity, but it was a hassle to maintain.These arrived extremely well-packed and in perfect condition. I read the reviews about hard water stains and mold build-up, so I'm going to try to avoid those issues. I own 12% peroxide (for cleaning purposes), so I first poured full-strength peroxide over each globe, and then filled the dish with distilled water. I hope those two things keep the porcelain clean.I slept with the large on one my nightstand last night, and I can tell that my sinuses are much more comfortable today.When I'm not using it on my nightstand, it will stay on the table by my houseplants to give them some extra love.

I wasn't sure what to expect from these 'humidifiers' but am pleasantly happy with them. They look like part of the decor and yet provide a small increase in humidity near the areas they are placed. I've placed one close to a Codiaeum Variegatum plant that likes a bit more humidity than is found in Saskatchewan in the winter and one on my nightstand beside my bed. They won't humidify a whole room and are not meant to however I like that I can 'target' areas I'd like to increase the humidity and will likely purchase another set.

En realidad son un par de esferas de barro que en teoría absorben el agua para luego liberarla por evaporación, pero no son muy efectivas. Son un buen adorno, pero definitivamente no son humidificadores.

I have the small one on my nightstand and the larger one near my plants in a spare room. They're perfect. They help humidify the air. Great if you want to save on electricity. I have two plug ins I rarely use anymore. Unless you need the plugins for medical reasons and/or use oils then I recommend these instead for daily use.
