Buddy Bike Sport is enjoyed by cycling enthusiasts and Captains over 5'8". This bike model includes a Shimano Deore M525 30 speed external gear system, our patented dual handlebar set up on the same stem, and Tektro IO disc brakes plus one Tektro caliper brake for the stoker to provide braking power for safety. An aluminum frame and single crown rigid fork provide a light ride while a wide range of gears for better climbing and hybrid tires provide a smooth ride with low rolling resistance. The Buddy Bike Sport size frame offers the maximum distance between rider seats for more rear rider leg room (19.2" between seats vs. Family bike 17") and a 73 degree Captain (rear rider) seat tube angle for a comfortable pedaling position for taller riders. For child riders, fold-out foot pegs offer a place to rest their feet out of the pedal path. Fold-out foot pegs (Search SKU PP-5YDM-LUT6) sold separately. Kickstand included.
