Nice chilies, not too hot, but the old one is so watch out for that. It’s a bit like Russian roulette if you like munching them hole. I love frying them in some ghee. And crunching them up over freshly made Dahl. Very tasty. Will help a carry out no end.

Nice chillies good size and well dried so keep them dry and they will last for ages, they have the stem on witch I think is good as it stops all the seeds from falling out but you can break the stem off if you want to, I would recommend these good quality good value, SG.

Versatile product. Good flavour. Can be used with or without seeds, and can be ground in the dry state to make a spice powder, or rehydrated. As a spice it also adds a lovely dark red colour. The liquid from rehydration is also handy to add more flavour in dishes that call for the addition of water or stock. The heat isn't overpowering - about the same as an unpickled jalapeño and slight more than a standard red chilli. Not a bad price considering how many you get. They keep well in an airtight container in a dark cupboard. There are enough plus points for it to earn a 4th star. My scoring system is: 1* = Serious issues with either the product or the customer service 2* = I'm not happy with the overall experience, it could be quality, service or value for money 3* = I got exactly what I was expecting - perfectly acceptable and my starting point for every review (partially as a protest against the view that anything less than 5* is poor - you have to earn the last two!) 4* = The purchase put a grin on my face for one reason or another 5* = I'm telling people about this in glowing terms!

Another winner from this supplier. They need to continue like this and they woll hsve me as an customer for life...

These Kashmiri chillis arrived in a sealed ziploc-type polythene bag that ensures their freshness: soft, not dried to a crisp like so many of these chillis disappointingly are. Packing them this way shows care by the seller, which is reassuring. The chillis' flavour is fragrant and hot, but not as fiery hot as those Bangladeshi chillis. Kashmiri chillis are rich in Vitamin C, also iron, potassium, copper, manganese, and magnesium and is a good source of antioxidants. This variant of chilli gives good heat to your Indian cuisine, hot in the mouth, but not setting fire one's throat! Altogether a delicious spice from the Kashmir region of India. And I think even 25g is very good value indeed, especially if you have a small cupboard, and you can always come back and buy more.

Hard to find these in some supermarkets. If you love cooking these are a must

Use these in my curries and to make my own chilli oil. Tasty.
