Advent RV AC Air Conditioner, Complete Non-Ducted System

Was a direct replacement for my failed AC unit from a 2007 trailer. The design is near identical which made it simple to change. Within an hour I had the old one thrown off the roof and the new one blowing cold air. It cools quickly and draws less power than my old one when it worked. It used to trip the 15amp breaker but this one does not. All in all, the price point was lower than most others and works exactly as I was hoping. I'd very much recommend it to others.

Unit came in 2 shipments, roof then ceiling. When I called it was a great relief to find 2nd ceiling unit would arrive next day! One bolt had to be threaded as you go. Had to add length to wire to reach connection.

Purchased this item for our camper to serve as a second AC system. Installed per the instructions and the blower worked, but the compressor would not kick on. Called customer service and was told we needed another part. Unable to use the system because of this and had to make the additional purchase as advised by the company. Despite this, the unit continued to not blow cold air defeating the purpose of this item. Took the camper to the dealer for other services and was informed that the unit did not operate correctly and needed to be replaced. Would advise against purchasing if cold air is what you are looking for. I would advise looking at other options.

This unit i installed myself bwsides having help getting it to Rooftop .removed shroud plus 4. Long threadall bolts and nuts fit snug as a bug. Wiring to an old Coleman Super Mach Opening works great A. Bit Louder Than Coleman but Very Efficent $2.00 day to run it in Arizona heat Kept Us Nice COOL Awsome Price for Complete Unit Fast delivery From Elgin, Illinois to Arizona.Recieved it Less than week from Time I placed order. Packaged Good No Damage to Unit.I will install tomorrow early before the Arizona heat Creeps in I installed it myself Very Easy Foam Seal came already On uni which helps with installation process..Had to have Neighbor help me lift it on top of my Class A Safari Serengetti Ivory Edition Motorcoach 35 ft..Easy to install Except the Small discharge Duct on bottom of unit that's suppose to slip together with Metal Box for inside it was too short Had to use Foil tape to make the two pieces Connect Together Would like to see a Revision on this part by adding at least an inch and a half to one of the pieces . I had a standard 14 in 1/4 inch opening made with two by. 2x4 's from the factory .I removed old unit just four bolts and Scraped & cleaned and scraped area for the new unit .Went inside installed Metal box and plugged female and male connector to unit tightend 4 bolts provided to upper unit Then green red black wires used wire nuts and Electrial tape .very easy to install .don't pay tons money for pro do it yourself.

awesome ac. kinda loud but will freeze you out if you want it to

The control knobs won't stay on, they keep falling on the floor.

Love it but one of the knobs does not stay on . Please advise how to keep it on?
