This product came packaged wonderfully!! It was in its own air bubble packaging. Often when I buy a product made in another country (I am in the USA), it arrives in bad shape. The care taken for this product to arrive safely was top notch!! The taste is perfect. I am very, very pleased with this product and I can’t wait to make my first dish with it 😊. You will not be disappointed.

They ship this item really well packaged. It comes in a box, wrapped in plastic, and the jar inside the box is really wrapped in bubble wrap so you cant see it unless you remove the bubble wrap. That is what I want to alert folks to: The box when it arrives says Indian Curry on it. I immediately thought they shipped the wrong thing and tried to return, until they told me that the jar inside really is tamarind paste, but its called Curry in India. I opened it, and there was the product I was expecting. So just be aware. Its a good tasting product that I use in a Thai steak marinade recipe. Good value too. The seller is also responsive so I would buy from their store again.

I used this to make tamarind cashew dipping sauce. The main dish was avocado egg rolls. The sauce was delicious and tasted as I remember it tasting in the restaurant. I think this paste would be good for salad dressing, so I will try it in the future for that purpose. The product seems expensive at first, but a little goes a long way.

The product arrived leaking out of it's glass jar. There is no liner over the jar lid and the lid is not indented showing it's "air tight". Throwing away.
