So I replaced our old wooden swing/slide after 3 years of it being in rough shape. The swings were too small for our 7 year old. We purchased the Big Brutus and have loved it. The installation was insanely easy and seems to be incredibly well built and will last far longer than our wooden swing set ever would. Took a couple to put up with 1 person for 90% of it and 2 people for the rest. Our 7 and 3 year olds love it. There is a massive swinging arc that is comparable to a swing set at a park or school. No worries about kids feet hitting at they get older. You can adjust the heights of the swings and also swap out the seats for toddler style seats or rope swings. All the parts individually are very light weight. You can use the swing with smaller kids with a level ground without stakes, BUT I would highly recommend using the stakes as it could flip with enough speed and weight eventually Few Tips: 1.) I would recommend leveling ground under the legs 2.) The stakes are a pain. For me it helps to use a large piece of rebar/metal rods or a long screw driver to left twist the stakes into the ground. If ground is too hard, soak ground in water to soften. 3.) Be careful using a drill or especially an impact wrench in assembly. You can over tighten and bend the metal especially at the top to attach hooks to frame for swings.

This was the perfect swing in every way. Easy to assemble. So sturdy you can swing with your child. So tall they can use it forever. Get this one.

It's sturdy and easy to assemble. All the swing hardware is top notch. We added some PTFE super lube to all the swing fulcrums. I only wish the engineering team made the mounting a little better. They shipped these anchors that screw into the ground. After drilling them into the ground, they attach using the fasteners for the plastic shoes, perpendicular to the part in the ground. It is totally fine, and adequate for the intended application, but I would like to add round concrete footers under the plastic pads and attach the unit at all 4 corners.

In total it took my husband and I about 2 hours from unboxing to having in anchored in the ground. Great quality and overall very easy to put together. My only concern is the ground anchors - we live in the midwest where we get some strong straight line winds so we are going to be looking into some heavier duty ones - but the overall unit is very heavy as well. Amazon delievered right up to our garage (they actually put it inside our garage between our cars which I thought was very nice!). I forsee this swing set having a very long life due to the great quality, size (I could see kids up to 10 years-12 years finding this swing fun with how tall it is) and versatility of switching out the swings. Overall for the price I highly recommend!

This is a very sturdy swing set. The Legs set into the ground with large screw bolts (kind of like a bolt screw you would put into the ground to retain a dog). So if your ground is hard, that might be difficult. We found it very hard to put together. Screws are unique where they screw head to head inside space where they join. I understand that to be for safety, but honestly it would be easier to have screw to go all the way through and put a protective topper on the end that came out on other side. If it weren't right before Christmas I would have bought the toddler swing all put together. the toddler swing comes in pieces, I thought it was all together when I ordered. This took two people to hold and we ended up having to drill holes that would match up. It was very frustrating. The whole set took two grandparents and a stong 6' Dad to put together...probably 6 hours total withput toddler swing. I wouldn't even attempt to put the Big Brutus together unless I had professional help. The kids do love it. We have 5 year old and two year old grandchildren. This set seems to be the perfect size for them them now, but I would imagine by 6-7 it becoming to small. This is so strong, I think in latter years it will support a nice porch swing for two people. The color is plain green and White, but I think the white can easily be spray painted to a color you might prefer.

Have not had this very long but initial impressions are excellent. It is heavy duty and well made. The installation was surprisingly easy. Took less than 2 hours for 2 of us. The instructions are excellent and everything is labeled. Most anyone can assemble this but do recommend a helper as some parts a little heavy. The finishes are really good. This is a large swing set which is what we wanted so pay attention to the dimensions. It is tall and long. We really like it.

Sturdy and and works great for bigger kids!

We love this swing. Sturdy, well made, even two adults can swing on it without any movement in ground. Easy setup, you can put it together (2 ppl) withing and hour !

This is a good set, sturdy and nice. My only complaint is the packaging since while it was delivered the pieces hit eachother and bent the tube of one which made the paint chipped, I contacted the seller and the piece was replaced. Good customer service and understanding, no complications. Again, the packaging could be improved to avoid chipping the pieces while transporting.

This is a bigger and sturdy swing set compared to other sold in Canadian Tire; Walmart; etc. The grandchildren enjoy it. Assembly instructions were good. Assembly works quicker with two people.

Great swing set. Wanted one that would last the grand children. I think this one will do the trick.

This swing set is a beast and I'm so pleased with it so far. Every time we look at the window at it, we mutter to ourselves "wow, that's a big swing set..." Think playground size. Swapped out one of the saddle swings with a toddler bucket swing without any difficulty. Assembly was not too difficult. I was able to assemble about 90% of it by myself but definitely needed help with the last few steps, including standing the swing set upright. I hate asking for help as much as the next guy, but don't be a hero--get some help for the last few steps.
