Durability and Sturdiness? 5+ but it's gonna take a bit of effort. I went all over the place locally, and virtually all I could find were short lengths and flimsy. I'm extremely happy with this product and it's gonna last.Room temp - 75deg, forget about trying to get these to lay flat. I put out in the AZ sun @ 78deg, and they are dark, they are quite warm to the touch and layout out very nice.I'd plan to cut about 6-8" off of each end, whatever length is needed, but tonight when it gets 45 deg, I'll bring them in and they are going to be rock solid and flat.All 3 sizes are going to work fine, like I said though, plan to cut a bit off of each end.Adhesion? ya, probably put down some wider carpet tape, but you have to get these flat first.I imagine, like others said, hot water in a utility tub too, just say'n, not going to get them flat at room temp, in my opinion.EDIT-added photo in finished location. Probably use a little tape to just keep from moving when stepped on. Worked perfect, with effort as above and from the look/feel of it, will last a long time.

I got this to cover the bottom of a door that leads to outside. Worked pretty good.

I have to have some cables laid accross a doorway. I myself trip on them mush less someone who doesn't know they are there. I looked for quite a while trying to find something that would cover them, thinking I may just have to string them up and over the door which would look horrible. Then I found this product, and it works like a charm! So nice that it comes in so many different colors so you can match it to your floors. I can add and subtract cables as needed. The product arrived quickly, nicely packaged. I did see the reviews where it would not roll out flat, but mine seemed to roll out flat right away. I did put a few things on it (it's 5 feet long) and it seems very flat after a day or so, so no I didn't have to boil it or heat it up in any way. I ordered the mediumn, and you can fit a few cables in it. (cableTV cable, speakers, etc) it is hard plastic so getting them in the little groves on the bottom can be a chore, but once in it's great. I'm just happy now that my cables are out of the way. Nice product, highly recommend!

After reading the few reviews that mentioned this item would not lay flat, I still took a chance. I figured laying out on the flat area around our house in 100 degree weather might do the trick. Sure enough, it laid flat in just a few hours. We are using to hide the 2 cords we need to run from the outlet next to our fireplace, down beneath our sofa, and over to the lamps on either side. It blends relatively well with our dark wood floors and keeps people from tripping. We really only needed about 3.5 feet but it was easy to cut. Saving the other small piece in case we need it somewhere else.

The product itself is great. The double sided tape they send for adhesion is garbage! What a joke.! It was against my better judgement to use it in the first place, but I did. Stuck to the floor great.....just not well at all to the product. Took alot of time to get it off the floor. Preciate that. Arggggg!This isn't advice but you could heat the product in hot water to make it more pliable before installing it and you could go to the hardware store and get some silicone, install a small amount along the ribbed part on the bottom and carefully install and weight it down (both sides) overnight. My guess is that it will adhere perfectly by morning.................that would be my guess.

I got a shark vacuum over the sumer but I rapidly uncovered a small problem, the robot keeps unplugging my cables. The tracks lay flat on the floor though the roll needs to be unrolled and left on the floor to flatten on its own. The product does function perfectly allowing for the bot to pass over the cable without unplugging my devices

The media could not be loaded. There’s nothing in the box for adhesion...so that’s a 1 star from me on that “feature”. On the other hand, this is definitely durable, I was surprised that there wasn’t off gassing, and I was easily able to conceal an extension cord cable running from my wall to desk. The small size doesn’t leave much room for a lot of cables - I wouldn’t be able to add more than the extension cord cable to the channel, but if you have smaller wires (like speaker wire) or thin cables (like USB or thinner computer cords) you might be able to squeeze more in. I was able to cut this with a pair of scissors, though I don’t think the scissors liked it. I recommend an exacto knife. I also think “flexible” is a bit of a stretch. This thing is able to be rolled up for shipping, but it’s not so flexible that it will drape across a carpet pile, so if you watch my video you’ll see the gap between my floor and carpet.

This was just the perfect size and blends in well with my carpet (I got the beige one) and against the base moulding. I had read in other reviews that it tends to bend up, but I have not had that problem. It is sent wrapped in a tight spiral, so I just laid it out and set 5-10 pound items on both ends and the middle. I left it like that overnight and have not had any issues with it curling up since. I was able to fit a thick cord and thin cord inside the actual cover. Since it's pushed up to the wall and not walked over regularly, I was able to also stick another thin cord under it easily. I have been very pleased with this purchase.
