Jaguar XJ6 Workshop Manual Owners Edition 1986-1994
C**.
Title is misleading, the coverage is heavily biased in favour of the earlier cars.
This manual does a pretty good job in respect of cars built in 1986 & 1990. Those equipped with 2.9 & 3.6 litre engines. On cars built from 1990 to 1994 it does a pretty bad job eg:1. later cars had a different automatic transmission, namely the ZF 4HP22 is superceeded by the ZF 4HP24 in the case of the 4 litre cars. The control differences are fairly significant.2. The later braking system is not referred to at all, and there are major differences.3. The fuel system moves from an external fuel pump to a pump within the fuel tank, and the filter is different and located differently.4. The cooling system dispensers with a viscous fan on the later models.Being the owner of a 1994 model I find the book fairly disappointing.

Just what we needed!
Arrived a little late, but in perfect condition, full of great descriptions & instructions. Great find, very affordable.

Almost Worthless
This manual is almost worthless. The electrical schematics are completely lacking. They show zero relevant information. The mechanical diagrams are just as useless. Don't buy this book.

Good Manual
Lots in this Manual that is not in the Haynes Manual. This is a must for any Jaguar owner who likes to do his own repairs

Not what I expected
This is ok but not as detailed as I expected I have had to order the Haynes manual as well to fill in the gaps.

Jaguar XJ40 Manual
