I am highly allergic to nickel. Even the tiniest bit will set off my ears. So look at the details. 925 silver usually means the material is 92.5% silver and the rest is other metals, which may be where the nickel was coming from. In addition, while the earrings are rhodium plated, because rhodium doesn't stick to silver very well, manufacturers will usually use another metal such as nickel to help it stick. I should've done more research before purchasing these, however they should also make it clear that these earrings are not 100% nickel free because pretty much anyone who buys sterling silver or rhodium plated earrings have this allergy. (I included some pictures of my ears as proof. It's ridiculously hard to get a good clear picture of your own ears but I tried. If you can see they are red, bumpy and swollen. This is after wearing the earrings for about 2 days and taking them off at night) ### ⭐ False advertising. *by G***V on Reviewed in the United States on August 30, 2018* They look NOTHING like the picture. They're just cloudy greyish black. No sparkle, no shine, no different colors, NOTHING remotely resembling opal. I mean I knew when I ordered them that they weren't actually opal but these poor things aren't even trying. If you order this product you will receive cloudy greyish black cubic zirconia. I'm going to wear them because I didn't already have any grey/black earrings, but I definitely wouldn't have paid this much if I had known they weren't going to be anything like the pretty ones in the pic, I would just have ordered one of those cheap packs of various colored earrings for $9 or whatever. And I'm kind of upset because I was debating whether to get one of those packs or this ONE pair and I made the mistake of deciding on this pair. I've been on Amazon forever and I do believe this is the absolute worst product/picture representation I've ever received. I kinda feel sorry for them. I feel so sorry for them that I'm going to love them. But they aren't at all what I ordered.
