Aluminum-Free Deodorant, Women & Men Santal & Vetiver 2.6 oz

I’ve been using Salt & Stone deodorant for about 4 years, and it’s still one of my favorites! I love the Neroli & Basil scent—it smells fresh, clean, and amazing without being overpowering. The deodorant is the perfect size for tossing in a bag, and it glides on smoothly without feeling sticky or leaving marks on my clothes. It provides great odor protection, and I appreciate the 48-hour protection claim. I typically reapply 4–5 times throughout the day, especially on workout days, so I love having something that goes on easily and feels comfortable. It is definitely on the more expensive side for deodorant, but after using it for years, I personally think the quality is worth the price. A long-time favorite that I keep coming back to!

This product is kinda pricey, but it works!! Florida summers are tough with the heat and humidity, regular deodorant doesn't cut it. I have tried to avoid products with aluminum in them, but it is challenging. I have tried sooo many and unfortunately, the products with sodium bicarbonate irritate my skin, so it's even tougher to find a decent more natural deodorant. I purchased on the recommendation of a friend's husband and figured if it works for him (he works outside), I would give it a try. Love the scent also. Does not leave white residue or stain clothes.

I got this for my very active and, let’s b honest, sometimes stinky 14 year-old boy teenager with very gentle, sensitive skin. We have gone through, well almost, every possible natural deodorant out there. None of them worked or at least not from a.m. to p.m. showers. When doing yet another research, I stumbled across this one and gave it a try. It felt so smooth, soft and pleasant when I tested it on myself arm first. I am assuming it is because of the moisturizing ingredients and ceramides. And it surprised me that it felt more like a light non sticky serum rather than a thick deodorant. You can barely feel its presence, yet you could tell it was on a few hours later because my skin was still soft to the touch! You can kind of see the texture in the up close photo I took. It did absorb quite quick without leaving any residue or stickiness, but I wish it had a little stronger smell to it. It has very mild, musky/sweet smell, which is definitely a men’s smell and myself and my son both loved it! This deodorant lasts longer and smells way better than lume, dr squatch, native, Tom’s.

I just bought my first salt and stone deodorant and I've been using it for about 2 or 3 weeks now. If you don't read anything else in this review, just know that I do like it and will continue to use it. I tried the Santal and Vetiver and I feel like I smell like sawdust or play dough at the end of the day. Still better than smelling like BO but still not great. Since it works I'm going to try some other scents but I definitely don't love it. Now to break it down... The benefit is that it is a natural deodorant that actually works and I don't stink at the end of the day. I am naturally a heavy sweater. It runs in my family and it doesn't matter what I'm doing or what season it is, I am always sweating. For the many many years I was using a prescription strength deodorant and just clogging my pores with aluminum. It didn't wor and I still sweated like crazy. A few years ago I made a change and went to a natural deodorant. Just FYI if you're making the change for the first time just be prepared to stink for about a month while your body detoxs. I used Sierra Bravo natural and I actually really liked it. It has aloe to keep from irritating my skin and smelled good. The only problem is it only worked for about 6 hours and stunk by the end of the day. Since I still smelled bad I decided to make a chang and tried this one. I will say that salt and stone actually works all day. The only down side is that the scents don't smell that great. I tried the Santal and Vetiver and I feel like I smell like sawdust or play dough at the end of the day. It's better than BO but still not great. I'm going to continue to use it and try other scents for now but if none of them are successful I'll have to try something else.

I have enjoyed this brand of product for several months now. They are not antiperspirant so you will still sweat if you are a heavy sweater, however is works pretty well at masking odor. I have not had any trouble with the product leaving residue on my shirt but it does smear in a greasy way if you over extended it. I wasn't expecting the travel size to be 1 oz but I probably should have known. Definitely over priced for the amount you are getting but that is the price of convenience, the 24 oz is $20.

I have bought the Saffron & Cedar deodorant so many times. I love it. I suffer from really bad allergic reactions to most deodorants, but the Salt & Stone deodorants do not irritate my skin at all. The Saffron & Cedar scent is clean, warm, and a little sophisticated without being overpowering. It goes on smoothly and doesn’t leave me feeling sticky or uncomfortable. I obviously also love that it’s aluminum-free but still does a great job keeping me feeling fresh throughout the day. I will continue to be repurchasing it.

I was skeptical about this deodorant because it’s really pushed by influencers. With that being said, sometimes you just never know if they’re being truly authentic about it. Anyway, I can now confirm this stuff is good!! It smells amazing, glides nicely on without being messy like some other natural deodorants, and does a good job covering up BO smell. It doesn’t necessarily stop you from sweating, but I’m used to that since I’ve used natural deodorants for years. Though it’s pricey, I think the quality is there and I will be purchasing this again!

I have been wanting to try this brand for a while now and couldn't justify spending the money on it. Well, I finally bit the bullet and bought the hair and body mist and deodorant. I haven't received the body mist yet. Today was my first time using the deodorant. Right out the gate, the packaging is very cute. And the aroma really grabbed my attention. The product smells amazing, it's grainy on the skin when you apply it. I read many reviews saying the smell doesn't last long. So I did my homework on figuring out how to prevent it from fading out too quickly. Sadly, nothing has worked as of yet. I have had to re-apply it 3 times today already and since it is aluminum free (not a bad thing, one of the many reasons I bought it) you sweat through it, and it smells worse than had it just been sweat alone in the first place. I really do love the scent, I just wish it would last longer. I don't think I can justify buying the deodorant again. Maybe in winter months! I hope the hair and body mist last longer. I feel like if I used this deodorant daily, at this rate, I'd run out in a week or 2. Also, it is kinda burning my skin. That may be a personal issue, but I do not have any allergies aside from latex as far as topical products go. I've also never used anything like this before.

Not working I didn’t like it

Very effective is eco friendly doesn’t burn if I apply straight after shaved. Very easy apply and the fresh smell is wonderful all day long. Is slightly pricey but you get quality product.
