Rainbow '7 Friends' Set of Wooden Sorting & Matching Rainbow Peg Dolls with Round Tray

I got this for my great nephew at Christmas and stopped opening gifts and played with this on the coffee table for about 15 minutes. He loved it. I love small wooden pieces that children can play with, and this did not disappoint. He still carries one in his had a lot. He really loves it. When I play with him, he will play longer with it taking the little people out and putting them in their different spaces. He Knows the right colors to put them in too if he wants, but he just likes these little guys. Love this gift.

The peg dolls are very rough feeling. For the high price of this I was hoping for better quality. I will probably sand them down some with sandpaper and repaint.

This is a great toy with some unexpected longevity. My 1 yr old stacks the cups, sorts the dolls into cups, lines them up, etc. My 4 yr old can play with them alongside blocks and playsilks, making houses or adventures for them.However, given the number of parts, the intended age range, and the necessity of having all of them in order for their "puzzle" function to work, I would really like to contact the company to purchase a replacement yellow cup! Just one lost piece and you're really out of luck for using the toy. I have looked all over the seller's page trying to find contact information to get a replacement piece--I'm happy to pay--but was unable to find anything.If being able to communicate with a seller is important to you, pay the premium for Grimm's. I ordered these rainbow peg dolls because they looked exactly like ones crafted in Germany that come with a safety certification. These are made in China with no labeling indicating they are made with safe materials. They are also not as smooth as I have found other, well made wooden toys to be. For the price I paid, I expected something much better.

These little wooden people are precious (they don’t have faces so they’re maybe also a teensy bit creepy). They’re great for counting, matching colors and creative play in general. They remind me of the now vintage “little people” I used to play with way back when haha but these are like a classy version of those and if my kids are anything like me these little wooden people will provide hours of entertainment. They seem to be well constructed, overall a quality toy. I love toys that aren’t made of plastic so these are a win. The negatives are that they do seem high priced for what they are and I wish the try they went on had higher walls so they would stay in and could easily move them place to place.

These are quality pieces and super cute!
