It's powder and it's got protein, and it's vegan, so it does its job as far as vegan protein supplementation. But I've found I actually enjoy it in quite a few recipes, especially curries and chilies. It acts as a very potent thickener. In a chili, you can use it in place of corn starch or whatever other thickener you might use, and since it does taste basically like peas, it can add a nice flavor to such vegetable-rich dishes. I just wish it weren't quite such a good thickener. A little bit goes a LONG way as far as thickening stuff up. Wish I could add a bit more to stuff without it turning half-solid! Bottom line is, great product and to my surprise cooking with it is a joy.

I’ve bought several brands of unflavored pea protein before and this has been so far my favorite. Truth being told, the flavor of them all is very very similar: mild cooked peas. Nothing that you can hide with other ingredients. I personally take it every day in the morning in a mug cake made with 20g of pea protein, 1 mashed banana, 1 egg, cinnamon, baking soda and apple cider vinegar; 2 minutes in the microwave. This pea protein powder out-stands for being organic but still very affordable. It’s usually hard to find both characteristics in the same product. Also, its nutritional table shows a slightly higher amount of protein and lower amount of sodium than most similar items. I’ll probably buy this on repeat.

This protein powder is cost effective, is super healthy / organic, and gets delivered right on time which makes it convenient. The powder itself is basically tasteless which means you can use in anything (baking, smoothies, cereal, drinks, etc). It is very fine grain and is fairly hydrophobic so requires deliberate mixing to get it incorporated without lumps and dry spots. The macros levels for pea protein are strong, and this has allowed us to increase our protein intake and reduce our carb (and our waistine). I can't say enough good things about the subscribe & save in order get regular deliveries and the best price.

I bought this because it was half the cost of the why protein isolate I usually buy. I will finish this bag and go back to whey because I can’t stand the taste and texture of this. Very grainy and thick compared to the same protein content serving of whey isolate.

I've been using this pea protein for several months now & am happy with it! I store it in a glass container & store it in the fridge. I've seen remarks about it being grainy. I put it in my morning coffee, along with coconut oil, organic apple cider vinegar, hot water & coconut milk. If you let it sit for a bit & then stir it again, it's not as grainy. It doesn't bother me at all. I don't eat much meat at all.

I use pea protein powder for various stuff and normally trust Micro Ingredients. From now on I will be more wary of the brand.. What a waste of money... Made 3 dishes with this and they all had no flavor. I switched with Terrasoul and the taste came back. I'm not new to using pea powder. It was not me or my taste buds. This was not good!

I have tried MANY powders over the years, and this is how I found out this one was different, I used to mix this with my coffee but one day I ran out and only had chai tea concentrate so I warmed some up w some water n added the protein and it made the most creamiest little pudding! The blending powers of this are high quality and the taste is soo mild that it quickly disappears when you mix it with literally anything else. Ps. I use this powder before meals to feel fuller for a longer period of time.

We add this to our breakfast smoothies and like that it does not change the flavor of the other ingredients. It has less sodium than others we have tried and is also a good value compared to other organic plant-based protein powders. My only complaint is the packaging. It is supposed to be resealable, but the seal is so flimsy that it separates from the package after one or two openings. Invariably, I end up having to use another zip-lock bag. Other than that small inconvenience, I would certainly recommend it.
