Great instrument.
First of all I want to say if people are expecting the instrument to stay in tune rightaway they are wrong. Like in every string instrument you need to stretch your new strings before the instrument will stay in tune. Also you need some good strings that will keep the tension. This is an awesome instrument that you can use as a Uke or as a cuatro if you wish. Top quality. Is like getting two instruments in one. This is definitely the ukulele to get if you are looking for a warm sounding instrument. If you tune it as a Venezuelan cuatro you will definitely need cuatro strings and you will get a spectacular sound. The way to quickly check intonation on a ukulele is to tune it, and then fret the string at the 12th fret and play it. The note you hear should be exactly one octave higher than the open string. If it is sharp or flat from the open note, the intonation is off. Intonation on this uke is perfect. I will definitely buy another one.

Remarkable Value and Fun To Have Around
I bought this as an adjunct to the soprano I got for my young daughter. I thought it would be easier to show her stuff if I was holding one also. Tenor means a longer neck and scale length which means no cramming fingers, but it's a real mystery to me as to why they call it a Tenor when it is tuned to the exact same pitch as the Soprano. In all other instrument series there is a big difference in the sonic range between Soprano, Alto , Tenor and Baritone. Someone said , in my research, that it's a historical artifact in that Tenors used to be tuned lower. A minor problem arises when you tune these strings the same pitch as a soprano in that the "action" ie strings are stiffer and for the beginner , they may experience sore fingers for the first 30 hours or so of playing. If you are buying for a kid with small hands, the soprano is probably a better choice for that issue. The instrument is remarkably well made for the price. The bridge is flat and secure to the body. The neck was straight and I only had string buzz above the 7th fret on the A string. It was barely noticeable and I don't think anyone is heading to Carnegie anytime soon with one of these. The intonation is also impressive for a tiny instrument. It's just a very convenient, sufficiently rugged and decent quality musical instrument that I hope is within everyone's budget.

Amazing bundle deal
Myself and many of my closest musical friends all gave this Ukulele a lot of play since receiving it. They have more experience with one than I do. Overall, I was very pleased with this instrument. The packaging was fantastic, the accessories were a major bonus, and the quality as spot on for what I wanted in my first Ukulele. It took a couple days of playing and tuning before it really began to hold tuning long term, likely due to it being new and having new strings. The tone is absolutely fantastic plays well all the way down the neck. One of my friends owns a few Ukuleles and was able to compare it decently. This isn't a contender for some of the higher tier/price models out there, but it impressed him for the price point. The accessories were great for a new instrument. An extra set of strings is always great to have on hand so those were nice to receive. It came with a capo which will work for many different instruments, big bonus. The case is probably my favorite thing, I like the color, extra pocket, and carry straps. The strap isn't my style, but at least I'm not tempted to go buy one now. It also came with a few picks. I'm used to playing larger heavier instruments, this is my only issue with the Ukulele, I would like if it has some more heft to it. It's not thin and flimsy at all, but I constantly feel like I'm going to break it. Overall, I'd recommend to most anyone.
