It's an excellent game for its cost. Short, fun, easy to pick-up and the kids love it.
The package is suprisingly solid for its cost. You get a sturdy puzzle-like playing field with a nicely drawn terrain, you get goold looking shiny gems and some pretty well-made and very detailed plastic figures, that are looking much more expensive that they should. The two-pages manual is breif and to the point. The game itself is very simple. You take turns moving your figures, collecting gems for bonuses, fighting opponents (though escaping to the center of the board is much more important here) by throwing dice, while each turn gets your closer to the point where a piece of the board is removed along with unpicked gems and remaining figurines. So its a race against the clock, so to speak. My kids loved it and so did my wife. It's quick and simple. It's great for settling siblings fights or deciding whose turn it is to do the dishes ;-). And it's extremely cheap for what you get. Very recommended.

A Wonderfully Simple and Silly Game
For the money, this game is worth it just for the components. Lots of miniatures! It's about the most simple and stupid battle royale game you could want. But therein lies the joy. Accept what you have and the game becomes hilarious. The rules are simple enough that my six year old quicky was able to grasp them and play. Everybody runs for the center of the board as the rest of the board disappears. Then it just devolves into king of the mountain. Don't come to this game for deep strategy and thought provoking action. It is all about dice chucking, dumb luck, and trash talking. We accept that this is a terrible, terrible game, but we love it.

Fun Game, minor print flaw
Fun skirmish game for younger gamers. Consistently plays in 40 minutes or less. I enjoy it with my elementary aged kiddos. Great introduction game for leading to more complex skirmish style games. But also a good shorter game, very rules light. Only minor printing problem is that the sink hole card and board use different pictures. So it was a bit confusing the first game but after that my kids had fun and asked to play again. Luck heavy, but some actual decisions matter. Good at teaching kids to pay attention to what wins the game, not just fighting but playing to the end game.

Fun way to introduce children to combative board games
Very fun and quick to pick up and play. I play this with my 4 and 5 year olds. Before the first session was out my 5 year old understood the rules and objectives well enough to only need some minor coaching on tactics. The only, and I do mean only, negative I have is that one faction (samurai) has far more "bendy" swords and look out of place compared to the other figurines. The pieces are good quality otherwise. Well worth the money for a game that will be played often

Simple game with few rules - perfect for kids
First, it needs to be said that the price of this game is extremely reasonable. You will rarely find a board game with this many components for a price even close to this. So, if you play this a couple of times, then you will have gotten your money's worth. The components are decent. There are a LOT of plastic figures and the sheer quantity alone is worth the money. But, on the other hand, don't expect great detailing on them. These are ok for what they are, but there is little in the way of detail. From a distance, they look great. The power stones that are used for movement and battle modifiers are beautiful. They are really light, but they do have a high table presence and there are quite a few of them. The board is standard fair. It is modular and I strongly suggest discarding the plastic insert so that you don't have to fumble with putting the board pieces back into it as if you were solving a puzzle. The few cards that are in the game are also decent quality. It is odd that one of the cards doesn't really match the corresponding board piece. The artwork is completely different. The only way we could figure this out is by process of elimination. How did that survive quality control? The rules can be explained in about 5 minutes and I would venture a guess that kids that are young will absorb them in no time. As you begin to play, you realize that time is precious and there is none to waste - so everyone begins to make a dash for the center. I was anxious to get to the fighting part, but it seemed like you just had to run for a safe space. Although it was not really addressed in the rules, we decided that you could pass through allies but not enemies. I played with two players which is most likely not the optimal scenario for this game. I would bet that it thrives with its maximum player count of 4. The climax of the game that I played was weak. I honestly thought that it would play out with a little more "excitement". But again, many games don't do well with two players, so I am chalking it up to that. If you are buying this game to play with younger children, it will most likely be a hit. The main concept seems very much like the popular video game : Fortnite. If you are a more sophisticated gamer, this might leave you feeling disappointed. And, to be fair, the manufacturer clearly markets this as a family game. So, there was no misleading marketing to be done. It's just that some "family games" can be just edgy enough for gamers to enjoy. Sadly, this is not one of them. I plan on giving this another shot or two with more people and hope that the experience is a little more "nail -biting" towards the end. Make no mistake - kids will absolutely love this and for the price, you really can't go wrong.

Fun little family game!!
Fun little game that the whole family seems to enjoy! Purchased for my son (13) but my daughter (15) and wife loving playing it just as much! It's super easy to learn, and quick enough that you don't lose interest like other games which tend to drag on. Really can't beat the value for your money! . . . lots of little figurines. My only complaint is that the actual board pieces are sorta cheap & flimsy, causing the playing field to "bubble".

Great start to a party
Wish this was out when I was growning up Box full of quality minis...check. Dice Rolling...check. Simple game rules...check. This is a great add for your gathering of friends or family. Quick game play... but decisions have consequences. Simple rules and a destructible board... I mean, what a way to start a night! You won't find depth, but the fast turns and board destruction timer to the ultimate show-down will keep everyone's attention. At ~$15, pick it up and have a great time with everyone.

Easy fun game
Easy to learn and to play, fun enough for children. I read in old reviews that there was a problem with one card with an icon different than the board, but it seems they corrected this since there was no such problem with the game I received.
