Healthy Relationships for the Win!
I loved the final book in this trilogy! I literally laughed out loud multiple times while reading, but there were also parts that were so moving that I cried! It was a perfect ending to Leila’s arc. I also loved learning more about Rigel and his background; it helped me understand why he did what he did. I will definitely need to reread the entire trilogy now to pick up on the hidden clues in the first two books! The thing I have loved the most about this series (all her books really), is how K.M. Shea models healthy relationships. Her character’s relationships are built on trust and respect, and they communicate with each other, which I wish I saw more of in other books! Additionally, because the relationships are healthy, I’m not nervous to recommend anything she writes to my friends and family of all ages. It is just so rare to find an urban fantasy that isn’t completely inundated with mature/adult content. All I can say in conclusion is go ahead and read this book, it was absolutely worth the preorder!

Great Way to End a Series!
Wow! What else can I say? I have been reading Kitty's book for years and her books are always improving. This series, and especially this book, have shown how much Kitty has grown as an author. All of the mysterious happenstances were answered, which is quite rare. I usually am left feeling like there is something missing or something not answered in a series but this book answered all of my questions and more! There are some plot holes but those started with the Hall of Blood and Mercy story arc and will probably be filled in with the next planned series. It is interesting what we find out in this story arc though. I can't wait for the next books to find out more!I love how this series doesn't focus on only the romance. It also focuses on other relationships to the MC. Leila grows exponentially with her own role, her magic, her relationship with her court, and her friends (even some enemies). She has more hilarious antics for her court and her friends to react to. Those definitely made me laugh! And there were times I teared up. (Can't talk about it without spoilers. Hehe.) I could go on and on but suffice to say that you cannot go wrong in reading this book or series.Random thought...King Fell and Rupert seem to have similar (not exact) personalities to me. I wonder what would happen if the wizards adopted King Fell? Hmmm. The possibilities!Fyi, this is the 3rd book in the Court of Midnight and Deception series and there is another series before this one called the Hall of Blood and Mercy. The Hall of Blood and Mercy books do not have to be read before this series but there is a lot of worldbuilding that explains more than this current one. This series is more focused on fae magic while the first series is more descriptive of all types of magic.

Perfect!
This was a perfect end to the trilogy!Leila’s consort is gone. For two months! Somebody or multiple somebodies are trying to kill her. She’s trying to unite the far monarchs, and restore the Night Realm. It’s fine.I’m grateful that Rigel came back into the story pretty quickly. I loved watching their relationship grow, and the banter. Leila is such an honest and snarky character that you have to love her.I enjoyed the action, and the way that the conflicts resolved. I was excited that everything wasn’t resolved. While I like my stories tied off with a bow, this means there will be more books set in this world! I can’t wait to see what is revealed next.Content: clean (magical violence, some kissing)

SUCH a finale to Leila's trilogy!
Oh my goodness, SUCH a finale to Leila's trilogy! We get to see so many seeds planted in the first two books come to fruition (and as a bonus, a couple of hilarious Killian and Hazel moments that arc back to their trilogy! Poor Elite Bellus; the Regional Council is going to be so much more interesting now 😁) I stayed up way too late reading The Queen's Crown, and cannot bring myself to regret it. So many emotional moments, from heartwrenching to hilarious to adorable. I will be rereading this one again and again.Leila is truly one of my favorite of K.M. Shea's heroines: driven to help her people and the other courts even when they hated her, she's become a beacon of hope and inspired a level of cooperation that none of them could have imagined. And while she really struggled under the burden of Rigel and Lord Linus's perceived betrayals, the heart that caused her to feel betrayal so acutely ultimately helped her to respond with empathy instead of bitterness: with each betrayal, and especially by the time she was confronted by the one who had been orchestrating the mounting attacks on her, Leila was able to step outside of her own feelings to look deeper for the intentions and motivations of those who may have unknowingly or unwillingly hurt her.And Rigel... Oh, he was written *so* well. His sincere inability to understand why Leila was upset was so much more believable, given what we learn of his background, than if he'd been apologetic at their first encounter. Their miscommunications made me so frustrated on their behalf, but made his gradual realizations and the growth of their relationship so beautiful. The ensemble cast and their support of Leila was incredible, especially as her court united behind her! She's truly going to continue to be a powerful, positive force in the Magiford region moving forward, because she honestly cares about them all and they've learned to respect and love her for it.I can't wait to catch glimpses of Leila, Rigel, and maybe some of the others (Chase and Chrys, pretty please?) whenever Kitty begins her next UF trilogy!

i think this is the last book in this series
overall i liked this series storyline and the authors way of writing. however it didnt feel like an end to a series. a lot of answers were given but to be quite honest i could see who the bad guys were from book 1. romance was def pg rated, not much happened. i thought there was going to be a deeper more scary baddy but that aspect was quite light. didnt go into answer new questions raised about the elves, nor did the story do deeper into the many possibilities within the world building mentioned. Mainly, i mean that the author could have done more, add a more complex/ darker storyline with deeper feelings of emotion and relationships. overall the whole series felt light and lacked a deep rich undertone that i felt could have been done, especially hinted through the description of the authors world building. however overall i enjoyed it for the light story it was with a happy ending. I would def re-read which is why i gave it such a high rating.

Amazing
This is the last book of this series, it is difficult to day that it is the best but it is, it also makes me very sad ,because it is probably the last time that I will get to live with these characters. Fortunately for me this lady is Prolific so I will read everything else of hers that I can find. And I will live with these characters again when I re-read this series ,as I am sure I will.

Lovely
But sad that I'm finished the third installment. Queen laila is a lot of fun and disrespect for the norms of fae Court life. There are some laugh out loud moments but the story is great with fantastic characterisation. Bittersweet though it is I loved these stories and am sad they have ended as I'm sure laila could really annoy others in the fae world

Wow
This was a brilliant finale. There were several twists in this story. Two I saw coming; one was a major shock, and leaves a cliffhanger that will presumably (hopefully!) be addressed in the next Magiford trilogy.Leila has gone through significant development. She has become the Queen we knew she could be - and the Queen she needed to be. She has changed the Night Court and the fae for the better.

Great book
It's fine ........ A brilliant story. When you read this book, the last of the three, you will get it.I did predict the end, but I still loved reading every page.I'm glad that the story is about the characters not any thing else.
