Bought this because my husband kept taking my purse hairbrush out of my purse, you know, EVERYTIME I needed it. He loves them both and uses daily. He has pretty thick hair and beard and both brushes are holding up well. Wouldn't recommend for thin hair though

Good quality brush and comb. Brush is easy to use and does the job. Comb design is good for coarser, curlier hair types but works well on all hair when wet. Overall satisfied with purchase, would recommend.

This is a nice beard comb/brush set. Both pieces are made of wood that has been nicely shaped and finished. The boar hair bristles are firm and seem to be able to last for many years. This will make a nice set for yourself or a gift for another gentleman.

I'm giving this three stars because I believe the 4 and 5 stars is very misleading to those in need a very strong beard brush and a capable comb. The comb is decent enough. Not much to complain about except one of the teeth was crooked. However, my beef is with the brush. The bristles are super soft, THIS IS NOT WHAT YOUR BEARD NEED. The bristles are no harder than paint brush . If that's what you want to "spread besrd oil around evenly" , then sure. Buy this. But I want a hard bristle to get in this besrd and actually shape the directions of the beard. Again, the bristles are too soft!. Also , bristles fall off with EVERY pass, not use of the brush, but PASS. As in every stroke you take is lessening the bristles on your brush. For twenty bucks ? No thanks. I suggest to everyone to just penny up for these other kits on amazon, more expensive but they include oil ( which averages around 25 bucks if you buy it by itself) and some even have a nice case for your stuff for 10 dollars more ? Worth it.

Chunks of bristles (plugs?) came out so there were holes in the brush. It shed like crazy too. I sent it back for a refund.

The brush is falling apart after a week of use.

This is perfect for my boyfriends curly beard. He used to get knots and it was painful to brush out.He loves this brush and comb and now his beard isnt a hot mess!
