Kingdom Of The Wicked Hardcover – Big Book, 27 October 2020

oh my...where do i even begin?i read the first page of this and i just knew i was going to love this. and i was not disappointed at all! the concept of this was just mind-blowing. i loved that this was based on the 7 deadly sins and the whole aspect of witches and magic and fantasy was brilliant. another detail i adored was the FOOD! kerri maniscalco put so much depth into that and made it a really big part of the main character, emilia’s, life and i really appreciated that. my favorite character has to definitely be wrath! i didn’t necessarily hate emilia but i did find her actions annoying and illogical at times. the world building was great and the plot was just spectacular and the pacing of this book was super fast and i just couldn’t put it down — there was never a moment where i felt bored. lastly, something miss maniscalco is brilliant at writing is romance. the enemies to lovers vibes, the tension, everything was PERFECT.also...can we talk about that ending because i am NOT okay after that. i need the sequel right NOW.

Ordered it in hardcover, got a paperback… now I’m returning it for the hardcover cuz I payed more for it, obviously.Update: they kept sending me paperbacks so i got a refund instead

Everything about this book was perfect, the events of the book, literally everything in it is amazing. Definitely recommend if your into demons and dark magic kinda thing.
