HDTV Antenna signal over Cat 6 worked like a charm
Worked like charm. I had a spare Cat 6 line between my equipment rack and my TV that was not being used and needed to get my HD Antenna signal from the attic antenna over to the TV. Connected the pair of cables at each end of the Cat 6 line and worked great. The Cat 6 run was about 60ft. No signal loss at all. To do this with various adapters etc would have cost a lot more. Great product and highly recommend. Does exactly what it says it does....CATV-Cat5e/6-CATV. Its a very thick and well shielded cable too.

Works well but be prepared to add an amplifier.
The hotel bar where this application was used had a CAT6 and RG6 drop behind the TV.No access to run new cabling from MDF.Cable was damaged somewhere behind the wall and the only option was to run the quam signal through the baluns to save the day.I experienced a 30 dB loss through the run although the CAT6 was perfect and passed certification.I had to install a BT 45db amp at the MDF to compensate for the loss.I was hitting this balun at 44db and was getting 6dbs at the bar, but HD digital passed and had no issues after that.I was a bit surprised at the amount of loss I had but that might say something more about the CAT6 cable quality than the baluns. At the end of the day, they were life savers.

this solution works great for DirectTV and other cable box connections
If you ran CATV 6 and want RG-6 75 Ohm connections without power adapters and/or HDMI extenders, this solution works great for DirectTV and other cable box connections. It will not work for main DTV main genie boxes; however, it did support C51 and C61 clients without any problems, signal loss, or concerns. It's been running for over 4 weeks now.

Very fragile
These cables work well and do what they are supposed to do, and this was the only solution other than ripping out sheetrock and running new coax after contractors somehow shorted out the cable I had installed during a remodel. The picture quality is fine and I did end up having to put an amp on it, but as I was splitting my signal 4 ways it wasn't a bad idea even without these cables. However, the cable itself is very fragile at the coax connector. As the television is installed on a swivel mount it did not take long before you have to reach back now and fiddle with the connector if the TV gets moved at all. I would only recommend these for a stationary setup. I had to order another set to keep my customer happy, but $100 is better than the cost of tearing out the walls again.
