Will this run a hydraulic deck on a mower

I don't see why not .. it's tough enough to run all the hydraulic pump on a 40 foot motor home leveling system and slide out. I very seriously don't think a mower deck pump would have more amps than a big pump on a motor home.

If the run or hold time to keep voltage passing through the unit is 5 minutes; why does it say "2 min max time" on the label on the unit??

Because you weaken the contacts in the unit when you try and start a unit with constant voltage going through the solenoid unit in excess of 2 minute periods. It will work up 5 minutes if needed, but will do internal damage if you exceed the 2 minute time frame. It should not take more than 1 minute to start a unit or operate extending or retracting any hydraulic unit.

What is the Amp rating on this

The trombetta solenoid would not have an amperage rating. The solenoid in our systems would pull direct DC voltage from the batteries. The run or hold time it could keep voltage passing through the solenoid would be about 5 minutes.

Easy fix!

This Lippert replacement dual-polarity reversing solenoid was exactly what I needed to fix my 5th wheel stabilizers stuck in the up position.
