First, very easy to set up and get it operational... Second, the cloud services are worth the price given what I needed at the time (I did have a difficult time getting the SD Card to work) as I required access to the camera and recordings remotely. Now the story of why this feeder will go down as the best thing we've ever purchased for our animals. Our cat, a 12 weeks old playful tabby named Mango, ran away 3 days after we received the PETLIBRO feeder and unfortunately we had to leave our house for 8 days for a family emergency. So, we were not able to stick around and put food out while we "hoped" that he would return. Enter the PETLIBRO. I placed the feeder outside on our deck and scheduled the feeder to dispense food twice a day. I started with 2/12 of a cup per feeding as I did not want to overflow the bowl within the first several days and with the live camera feed, I was able to monitor the amount in the bowl and stop feedings as needed - great feature BTW. Low and behold, he returned 14 days later on Christmas day evening (video included) as I was notified by an alert on my phone. From that point forward he would return every night at the scheduled feeding time. I believe he heard the feeder dispense the food and that trigger him to come out of hiding (we have several foxes running around). We were not able to return home for several more days so the entire family couldn't wait each night to get the alert that Mango was back for more food and we all gathered around my phone to watch him walk around and eat. We when returned home the entire family set Operation Recover Mango in motion and used the PETLIBRO to alert us when he arrived - we set it up to feed 1/12 cup every two minutes and monitoring the camera during the 15 minute timeframe he typically came to feed. Needless to say it was a success and Mango is back home in his comfy cat bed. I'm surprised at how much food is kept fresh in its reservoir as it did last our entire trip (8 days). Its also very sturdy as it endured severe weather for over 10 days; multiple below 17 degree days, rain, snow, and high winds! It is now back inside and Mango comes running when the feeder starts to dispense food. Will go down in family pet history as a magical. Thank you PETLIBRO! Review: The cat likes it, that's what matters - I got this feeder for my daughter's little feline princess to make life easier for all involved parties. Feline Princess cannot free feed because she doesn't know when to stop, so we had to set her up on a meal schedule. The comings and goings of the humans is different day to day due to work schedules, school schedules, and just life in general. Feline Princess does not understand that the humans aren't always awake or home when she decides she's been starving long enough and starts demanding her food. My sister has used this feeder for her 3 cats and recommended it for our Feline Princess. It was easy to set up, works really well, and has a lot of customization options as far as number, timing, and size of meal offerings. It holds a decent amount of cat food and doesn't take up much space in my daughter's room. Feline Princess no longer has to starve past her meal time and the humans don't have to worry about coming home to a hangry cat. All humor aside, this is a really convenient addition to our cat-owning lives. Cat gets fed whether we're home, awake, or just busy getting other things done around the house. I would buy this automatic cat feeder over and over again if I needed to! ## Features - Use to keep pet food fresh and maintain dryness, prevent pet food from moisture, suitable for cat food and dog food, so that your pet can enjoy fresh food at all times - Please do not unpack the individual packets before use, as this will prevent early oxidation; It is recommended to replace it once every half month to ensure the dryness and hygiene of pet food - International products have separate terms, are sold from abroad and may differ from local products, including fit, age ratings, and language of product, labeling or instructions ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B08NVBYQHV | | Additional Features | Durable, Easy to Use, Keep Pet Food Dry and Fresh, Use for PETLIBRO Automatic Cat Feeder, Easy Storage and Use | | Age Range Description | All Life Stages | | Best Sellers Rank | #769 in Pet Supplies ( See Top 100 in Pet Supplies ) #2 in Automatic Cat Feeders | | Brand | PETLIBRO | | Brand Name | PETLIBRO | | Breed Recommendation | All Breed Sizes | | Capacity | 500 ml | | Color | White | | Customer Reviews | 4.1 out of 5 stars 10,335 Reviews | | Dog Breed Size | Small | | Included Components | Food Desiccant Bag | | Item Dimensions L x W x H | 3.1"L x 3.1"W x 0.31"H | | Item Type Name | Automatic pet feeder | | Item Weight | 65.2 g | | Manufacturer | PETLIBRO | | Manufacturer Part Number | PLFD001 | | Material | Polyethylene Terephthalate | | Material Type | Polyethylene Terephthalate | | Model Number | PLFD001 | | Number of Items | 1 | | Number of Packs | 6 | | Operation Mode | Automatic | | Product Care Instructions | Keep in dry area, do not open until use | | Recommended Uses For Product | Keep Fresh | | Special Feature | Durable, Easy to Use, Keep Pet Food Dry and Fresh, Use for PETLIBRO Automatic Cat Feeder, Easy Storage and Use Special Feature Durable, Easy to Use, Keep Pet Food Dry and Fresh, Use for PETLIBRO Automatic Cat Feeder, Easy Storage and Use See more | | Style | Desiccant Bag | | Target Species | cats, dogs, small animals | | UPC | 782943474932 | | Unit Count | 1 Count | | Warranty Description | 12 Months Warranty | ## Product Details - **Brand:** PETLIBRO - **Material:** Polyethylene Terephthalate - **Recommended Uses For Product:** Keep Fresh - **Target Species:** cats, dogs, small animals ## Images ![PETLIBRO Pet Food Desiccant Bag, 6 Packs Desiccant Bags for Cat Dog Feeder, Keep Pet Food Dry and Fresh, Suitable PETLIBRO Automatic Cat Feeder Model PLAF005, PLAF006, PLAF103, PLAF203, PLAF301 - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71T9afTGJ1L.jpg) ![PETLIBRO Pet Food Desiccant Bag, 6 Packs Desiccant Bags for Cat Dog Feeder, Keep Pet Food Dry and Fresh, Suitable PETLIBRO Automatic Cat Feeder Model PLAF005, PLAF006, PLAF103, PLAF203, PLAF301 - Image 2](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71stHE1H+OL.jpg) ![PETLIBRO Pet Food Desiccant Bag, 6 Packs Desiccant Bags for Cat Dog Feeder, Keep Pet Food Dry and Fresh, Suitable PETLIBRO Automatic Cat Feeder Model PLAF005, PLAF006, PLAF103, PLAF203, PLAF301 - Image 3](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/81MGl99cVlL.jpg) ![PETLIBRO Pet Food Desiccant Bag, 6 Packs Desiccant Bags for Cat Dog Feeder, Keep Pet Food Dry and Fresh, Suitable PETLIBRO Automatic Cat Feeder Model PLAF005, PLAF006, PLAF103, PLAF203, PLAF301 - Image 4](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/717uH8rdHqL.jpg) ![PETLIBRO Pet Food Desiccant Bag, 6 Packs Desiccant Bags for Cat Dog Feeder, Keep Pet Food Dry and Fresh, Suitable PETLIBRO Automatic Cat Feeder Model PLAF005, PLAF006, PLAF103, PLAF203, PLAF301 - Image 5](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/816eR3FJ3YL.jpg) ## Available Options This product comes in different **Color, Size** options. ## Questions & Answers **Q: Replace once every half month? Like every two weeks? That's pretty frequent is you ask me.** A: I agree, I replace once a month and don't open the container at all otherwise and my cat is fine with the food inside **Q: There is a flat side and a 4 square side. Does it make any difference which side is facing the vented part of the holder?** A: Hi, Either way would work, you just need to put it inside the holder. PL Team **Q: My feeder was packaged with a generic desiccant bag. Can I use any desiccant bag that is safe for food instead of these overpriced ones?** A: Hi there, you can replace it with a desiccant package purchased from regular channels and with a certificate of conformity. **Q: Is this compatible with pl-af-203? (the one with the camera)** A: Hello, yes, the desiccant bag can be used for all of PETLIBRO feeders, please feel free to purchase. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ PETLIBRO to the Rescue! *by S***R on January 1, 2026* This automatic Feeder is awesome. The machine completely stopped working a little over a month ago. I followed troubleshooting available online before emailing customer service. After a few emails exchanged with what was clearly an AI customer service rep, I got a human reponse. The human wasn’t anymore helpful than the AI and a lot slower to respond. A month later and there is no resolution whatsoever. Each reply from the human asked me to try yet one more trouble shooting suggestion, then asked for proof of purchase, then asked me to make drastic changes to my WiFi, then asked me for a video of the machine not working so that they could SEND ME PARTS to repair it myself. So, a product that completely breaks after a few months and laughably terrible customer service. It’s really frustrating too because this product made life a lot easier for us and our dog. Oh well… Five stars based on a few things: 1. It works. It feeds my dog on time, every time and set up was a breeze, including syncing with the app and creating a feeding schedule. The feeding schedule was a little tricky to figure out because it dispenses in units of 1/12 of a cup and I am terrible at math :) But once I figured that out, easy-peasy. I like that you can skip feedings or do one off feedings with just a few taps. 2. The feeder communicates well with the app, as far as I can tell. I get alerts when his food his low, when the desiccant bag needs replacing, if the machine gets kicked offline, and if there is something stuck in the dispenser (this has happened once, with a piece of odd shaped kibble). 3. It "fits" the kibble we feed our dog. I was worried the dispenser wouldn't be wide enough, but aside from one piece of kibble that was odd shaped, we've had no problems. For reference, he eats Purina one chicken and rice formula. I decided to try this when my husband found out he would be traveling for a bit and we needed a way to feed our dog lunch on the days I was working in the office. It's positively changed our routine in terms of other feedings, too. It used to be that our dog would whine for food outside our bedroom door starting around 5:30 am every morning. We tried everything to break him of this, but no luck. I set the schedule so that he gets one half of his breakfast at 4:45 am and the other half at 6:00 am. This has worked like a dream. Now, I usually have to wake him in the mornings when I get up, around 6:45 / 7:00 am. The food dispenser is relatively quiet and we keep it by our backdoor. So, I don't hear it when it goes off in the morning but my dog does. One nice, unexpected side effect is that it keeps him from inhaling his food because it dispenses slowly. If helpful to anyone: my dog is a med to large, about 60 lbs., lab/retriever mix. We haven't tried using the audio function so I can't comment on that (I noticed a few reviews said it doesn't work). I think the true test will be how long it lasts. I've had it almost 2 months and so far, so good, but I'm really hoping it lasts us a good long while. In the meantime, very pleased and recommend this to others. ## Frequently Bought Together - PETLIBRO Pet Food Desiccant Bag, 6 Packs Upgrade Desiccant Packets Keep Cat Food & Dog Food Dry and Fresh, Suitable Model PLAF001, PLAF101, PLAF005, PLAF006, PLAF103, PLAF203 - PETLIBRO Replacement Filters for Dockstream Cat Water Fountain PLWF005 PLWF115 PLWF105, 4 Months Set of Replacement Filters for Ultra Quiet Pet Water Fountain,White 8 Count (Pack of 1) --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - πŸ›’ **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** β€” Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** β€” Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - πŸ’° **No Hidden Fees** β€” All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - πŸ”„ **15-Day Free Returns** β€” Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - πŸ”’ **Secure Payments** β€” Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** β€” Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.jp/products/291650331-petlibro-pet-food-desiccant-bag-6-packs-desiccant-bags-cat](https://www.desertcart.jp/products/291650331-petlibro-pet-food-desiccant-bag-6-packs-desiccant-bags-cat) --- *Product available on Desertcart Japan* *Store origin: JP* *Last updated: 2026-10-14*
