Arrived open...
I did not realised, at first, as the product was properly closed, and it was the first use. But, the second time I used it, I could see there was a small cut made in the end of the opposite part of the product, and every time I squeeze it: it loses cream by the other side... I realised it was clearly violated, and some product subtracted from the container...sad...

Nice scent
Good to use. Lovely scent. Just a little bit dry in Toronto's winter.

Pleasant Hand Cream with Powerful Scent
I've tried a few products from this SEACRET line and they're all pretty good (SEACRET Minerals From The Dead Sea, Mud Therapy Hand Cream 3.4 FL.OZ.). This particular one, the hand cream, is one of my least favourites even though it's well-made - this is because I find the scent really strong. I'm one of "those" people who is sensitive to scents, though. When I read the name of the product, the word "mud" jumped out at me. But don't worry - it's not mud-coloured, and nor will it be drying and difficult to get off. It's just a slightly thicker regular-seeming hand cream. It is on the pricey side but this company makes quality products infused with Dead Sea minerals. The tube isn't terribly large for the price, either. But it is a nice hand cream and isn't one of those slick, greasy formula types. It's got more of a 'matte' feeling to the hand cream.

Not a hand cream, but an overpriced barrier emollient.
Quote:"According to the guideline of Labelling of cosmetics in Canada, it should be done in Descending Order of Predominance.Ingredients must be listed on the label in descending order of predominance, in their concentration by weight. This means that the ingredients at the beginning of the list are present in the product in a greater amount than those at the end of the list."The top 10 ingredients are:-- Water - Yey!-- Isopropyl Myristate - pore-clogging ingredient. Not suitable for acne-prone skin.-- Cetyl Alcohol - pore-clogging ingredient. Not suitable for acne-prone skin.-- Glycerine - emollient. Yey!-- Glyceryl Stearate - - pore-clogging ingredient. Not suitable for acne-prone skin.-- Dimethicone - silicone-based ingredient-- PEG-40 stearate - soft waxy substance. Another barrier ingredient?-- Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride - carries very low toxicity for topical use. The FDA notes that it's generally recognized as safe in low amounts as a food additive.-- Simmondsia Chinensis (Jojoba) Seed Oil - Yey!-- Phenoxyethanol - preservative. Safe when applied topically in concentrations of 1% or lower.Shea Butter and Sea Salt present surprisingly at the end of the Ingredient list, which means both ingredients are minimal. Really? For the current price of 37.99, I would expect to see it in a greater amount.Following my habit of dotting the i's and crossing the t's, I applied hand cream according to the product's "how to use" instructions:"Gently massage until fully absorbed."The cream created a barrier layer but has never been absorbed.I do not recommend the product as a hand cream. But as a barrier cream, it does the job.Seacret is a United States-based network marketing company that sells cosmetic and other personal care products made from Dead Sea minerals, mud, and nutrients.Ingredients:WATER / AQUA,ISOPROPYL MYRISTATE,CETYL ALCOHOL,GLYCERIN,GLYCERYL STEARATE,DIMETHICONE,PEG-40 STEARATE,CAPRYLIC / CAPRIC TRIGLYCERIDE,SIMMONDSIA CHINENSIS (JOJOBA) SEED OIL,PHENOXYETHANOL,CHAMOMILLA RECUTITA (MATRICARIA) FLOWER WATER,SILT (DEAD SEA MUD),BEESWAX / CERA ALBA,SORBITAN TRISTEARATE,OLEA EUROPAEA (OLIVE) FRUIT OIL,ALLANTOIN,CHLORPHENESIN,SODIUM BENZOATE,FRAGRANCE / PARFUM,TOCOPHERYL ACETATE (VITAMIN E),ETHYLHEXYLGLYCERIN,SEA SALT / MARIS SAL (DEAD SEA MINERALS),BUTYROSPERMUM PARKII (SHEA BUTTER),CARAMEL,ALOE BARBADENSIS LEAF JUICE.

Was not particularly hydrating for my hands
Hand cream was Ok but did note anything special about it after using for two weeks. I have mature skin and allergies to a lot of skin products and fragrances. There is a slight fragrance but dissipated quickly. A little product goes a long way, found it a bit sticky when first rubbing it in, almost a dry feeling to it but absorbed quickly and did not leave any residue. However did not seem to moisturize my hands as much as other hand creams I have used. No negative reactions, skin did feel a bit softer but also dryer and found myself having to use this cream more often than other hand creams. Note: my hands are not exposed to harsh environments or conditions without protection (i.e. gloves) but due to pandemic more hand washing and use of hand sanitizers. Now have returned to former hand cream and hands definitely feel more moisturized without constantly reapplying. Depend on individuals’ need this Seacret product may or may not be the product for you. For myself, will no longer be using this particular product and don’t believe the results are having to do current attention to additional hand washing and hand sanitizers.
