EVGA Z15 RGB USB Gaming Keyboard, RGB Backlit LED, Hotswappable Mechanical Kailh Speed Silver Switches (Linear), 821-W1-15US-KR, Black

I was looking for an entry mechanical keyboard, and saw this had hot-swappable keys. I figured this was a good opportunity to test out a variety of switches at a reasonable cost (with RGB of course). I don't have anything to compare it to, but after a week or so, I love it. It does take some time getting used to typing on it, as I'm used to a flatter keyboard design, and the keys are higher than I'm used to, but the 2 levels for the feet really help. The Silver switches are super smooth and don't annoy my wife when I'm typing. I DID switch in the Bronze switches under a few caps and she was not impressed with the sounds. To be honest, I didn't like the feel of the bronze too much; a little TOO clicky for me without the force. The colours are vibrant and bright and the keys have been responsible. Actually - my only complaint would be that the keys are a little TOO responsive. It's taken some getting used to for my pressing habits. Even the slightest touch on the keys can lead to mistypes. This I feel is a bit of my fault, but also something that could be improved with stiffer switches. Nonetheless, I love the feel and, for the price, you really can't go wrong! I actually wish I got a 2nd one when it was on sale! PS> The "UNLEASH" software does NOT work on a Mac. I had to download 'Parallels' to run windows if I wanted to get super customized options. For me, the built in colours and patterns are fine, but for some, this may be a deal breaker.

This keyboard is ridiculous for the price. I got the Speed Silver switches, and they are a little easy to press, but they feel amazing, and are great when gaming. Even if I didn't like them, this keyboard is hotswappable, so I could switch all the switches out for another switch! They even included 6 Speed Copper switches, which I use for my Osu! keys. The media keys are so useful, and I LOVE the volume scroll bar. The key caps are easy to read, and in my opinion, look pretty good. The included magnetic wrist rest is great, and doesn't fall off accidentally or anything like that. The RGB lighting looks great, and always wows people I show. Honestly, the only disadvantages I can think for this keyboard are that the EVGA logo is a little big (just an aesthetics thing), and you only have the choice of speed silvers or coppers when you buy the keyboard. If you're looking for a good, budget mechanical keyboard, you can't get much better than this.

Keyboard is excellent especially considering the price. Mainly used for gaming and typing. Kailh linear speed silver are excellent switches which are pretty sensitive but if you're an accurate typist it actually helps increase typing speed due to the lower actuation force required. Makes long typing or gaming sessions a breeze. Only gave it 4 stars due to a bad switch on opening the package. Had to pull out the switch and realized that the pin was bent on installation but once i cut the bent piece it works great. They also gave 8 replacement switches but for some reason they're all the clicky speed bronze. I didn't really understand the idea behind that but apart from these 2 reasons, this keyboard is excellent so far and would definitely buy again even compared to the more common hyperx's and steelseries.

Me encanta este teclado tiene muchas funciones, incluso puede aumentar o disminuir el retraso en que tarda en recibir tu PC cuando presionas una tecla, pero hay algo que me llama la atención es que por alguna razón tarda en reaccionar o identificarlo la PC es decí inicia el equipo y no lo detecta si no que hasta que inicia la aplicación de EVGA no es como que me quite el sueño, pero tiene ese detalle que aún no encuentro porque 🤔

I had this keyboard for a year and a half now and it still works very good. No loosen key, no wobble key, no stiff key which happened often for me on the longer keys like "shift" and "spacebar". The magnetic palm rest is an excellent design, I used to have those bulky one that leveled my hand and it didn't feel very comfortable. This one is compact and very easy to remove for cleaning. The customer support is excellent too. I contacted them when the "z" key broke and they sent me a new one without cost.
