Was really impressed with this!! It doesn't smell like bleach at all. Is really gentle and doesn't sting like a lot of other brands but gives a really good lift. Will definitely be buying again!

11 month update: Picture 3. My afro is still thriving. The colour has grown out a lot. I've kept my hair healthy using Shea moisture products. I use their deep conditioning masks as a leave-in conditioner and recondition my hair twice a week. Washing every 1-2 weeks. I use tresseme moisture conditioner and cowash mostly. I use castor oil to seal and always keep my hair in a satin bonnet when it doesn't need to be out. 6 month update: my hair is still healthy and undamaged. It's grown out a lot and had been growing very healthily. I have a really cool ombre effect right now. I still recommend this bleach and will use it again when I'm ready. Original review: Used this on my short 4a/4b natural hair and it worked really well. I wanted to lighten my ends so I could dye it pink. I have bleached my hair a few times in the past and this bleach was the nicest experience of them all. It didn't stink, which was a huge plus for me. It lifted my hair pretty well. I had lighter ends and wanted to bleach a bit into my unlightened hair as well. It worked a treat. I left it on for 45mins. The picture in the blue is where I started, a light caramel brown and the picture in pink is where I ended. Please note that I was just trying to dye my ends and not the whole thing hence the black hair still visible. My hair didn't feel damaged or dryer afterwards. It was healthy before I bleached it and it still feels healthy now.

I use this aswell as the Schwarzkopf bleach and they both definitely work at lightening. My only advice for future use would be to make sure you’ve got the correct blue/purple shampoo as managing undertones can be tricky especially if you want it without the yellow or orange. I’ve personally had dry and brittle hair and I can now say bleaching on broken hair does damage it further. However I bleach to add brighter colours to my hair so it definitely does that job well. Would recommend to someone who’s got healthy hair, someone who wants blonde hair as a result or someone who needs bleach for another colour on top.

I was sceptical about this product due to the mixed reviews and due to the product being much cheaper than other beach kits available, i am 100% glad i chose this option. My friend helped me with my hair and commented on how nice the product smelt, i had big roots due to lock down and this product turned them from medium brown to very light blonde in 30 minutes, we applied the rest of the dye to the rest of my hair for the last 15 minutes. The dye does go along way unlike some other bleach kits, however i bought 2 boxes as my hair is long and this is the first time i have lightened my hair in a while so wanted to make sure i had full coverage. It did leave come yellow/orange tones but no where near as bad as some other bleaches have and i always apply a toner after bleach anyway ( i highly recommend L'ORÉAL DIA LIGHT toners). This product did not dry my hair out, i am 100% happy with the results and would buy again.
