Tanologist Medium Tan Drops, 1.01 fl.oz/ 30 ml Bottle

Im very pale & even when I tan or lay out it takes a lot of effort for me to even get a base going so since I started using these drops I haven't found anything better! They work quickly & produce a natural-looking, even tan. The bottle could be a little bigger for the price point but I digress. Great product!

I’ve intentionally waited over a month to review this product. I wanted to really give it a shot and experiment with it. Aaannnnd now I’m obsessed.Im white white. All I do is burn. Sometimes your girl just wants some color. But because I’m so light all self tanners end up orange on me. This one actually develops beautifully and even. Im not someone who likes to be super dark, i just want a warmy glow. I was scared to use it lol so I started with one drop per pump of lotion. Moved up to 2-3 as I realized it wasn’t going to be super orange. It says it takes 4-6 hours to develop and you don’t have to wash it off. So, if you’re able, I would gradually build the tan. I put it on every day until it was the color I wanted. Now on average I’ll add it to my lotion every 2-3 showers to maintain it. On days I don’t use it after my shower, I make sure to use a heavier lotion to keep my skin moisturized. However, when you are using the drops I would highly recommend using a lotion that has a thinner consistency. I found that it was a lot easier to blend and create an even tan whereas the heavier/thicker lotion I noticed there were patches because it’s just harder to blend evenly. I personally just use my hands. Speaking of blending, do it till your wrists hurt lol. Only kidding but it’s worth the extra few minutes to make sure everything is as even as possible rather than having any patches. This is the only tanning product that has given me such a beautiful even blend. As far as scent goes, it’s so subtle. I don’t know why people expect self tanners to have no smell. I notice this one like any other but it’s not unpleasant and definitely not strong enough that anyone else is going to notice. I’ve also had no problems using this in my face moisturizer. I’m very acne prone so it was important to me to find tanning drops I could also use on my face. No changes in my skin/acne on my face.Love love love. I’m almost out and I’m on my way to buy another. I’m going to be using this year round.

I had no idea what to expect with the mixed reviews but I am pleasantly surprised with the results. I needed a little color to my white legs and this did the trick. I mixed it with my Farmhouse Fresh Body Mousse. The color was faint after applied but I woke up to a nice natural looking glow. A little blotchy on my feet as I applied it sparingly there so I will be sure to blend it better next time. I purchased the medium color and it is not orange on me. I would buy again.

This is the first self tanner I've EVER used that looked real, with no orange tones that you just want to wash off your face before someone says "did you use self tanner?". I use only 2 drops mixed with my face serum that goes on before cream. I tried mixing it with my cream moisturizer but find it's easier with a more runny serum or face lotion. Sometimes I'll use 3 drops and extra serum to get the back of my neck as well. With 2 or 3 drops I get a nice healthy complexion/glow and my family didn't even notice or ask me if I was using a self tanner. More proof it looks real. It also doesn't have that saltine cracker smell that most tanners have. You just smell a tiny hint of it which is nice. Doesn't dry out my face and I have dry skin. It will last a couple days so I use this every other night. When the weather is warm and sunny again I'll probably add another drop or two to go a bit darker. The nice thing is you can control the darkness with the amount and frequency. I highly recommend this product.
